I fell in love with numbers as a kid, working in my parents shop and being called "manager". I didn't think Mathematics was something I could study in the university. However, when it was time to apply to universities, I realized I had no idea what I wanted to study.

People say you should pursue a career in something you already love. At the time, the only subject I enjoyed in school was Mathematics, so I applied for it. Now, here I am 6 years later, currently studying to get my Master's Degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics. Sure, mathematics has its days where I feel like it's all a waste, but having this community of math lovers and educators who are ever ready to help is wonderful.
