The term Aromatherapy was coined by Prof. Gatte`Fosse, a French cosmetic chemist. Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of plants to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from "essential" oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing. Aromatherapy activates areas in nose called olfactory receptors, which send messages through nervous system to brain. The oils may activate certain areas of brain, like limbic system, which plays a role in controlling emotions. They could also have an impact on your hypothalamus, which may respond to the oil by creating a good feeling in brain. Its use ranges from pain relief, mood enhancement and increased cognitive function to treat asthma, insomnia, fatigue, depression, inflammation, alopecia, cancer, arthritis, erectile dysfunction, menstrual disorders, menopausal syndromes, etc. According to the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy, the most popular essential oils include fennel, geranium, lavender, lemongrass etc.

COVID respiratory syndrome and hence the causative organism is called (SARS is highly fatal due to its respiratory complications and thus poses a global threat. beginning of 2020 COVID-19 has caused a huge number of mortality and the rate is increasing ever since, thus the scientific community is engaged in lookout for prevention and possible treatment of the disease. For this, better understanding of pathogenesis of the disease is a prerequisite and this manuscript is a step towards understanding the pathogenesis of the disease.

Solanaceae) is well known (local name: Pokmou) ethno-medicinal plant in north-east part of India. Traditional knowledge claimed that aerial parts of this plant has medicinal values like antiulcer, anti inflammatory, antimalarial, antidiabetic, antimicrobial etc but there are lack of scientific evidence to support these properties. The aim of study is to established standard monograph of the root of Physalis minimaĀ andĀ also evaluate antibacterial property from root extracts against selected Gram (+ve) (S. aureus) and Gram (āve) (E. coli) bacteria strains by agar disc diffusion method. Morphological study revealed that root is tap root, greyish white in colour, slightly sweet taste. Microscopic evaluation showed the presence of phelloderm, cambium, medullary rays across the xylem and phloem, starch grains. Physicochemical parameters were found to be within limit. Different extracts have shown the existence of metabolites viz. Alkaloids, steroids, tannin, flavon...

The Results were very much encouraging as 2% Hydro-alcoholic extract has shown a better hair growth than that of the marketed drug Minoxidil. The Extract was also subjected topreliminaryPhytochemical Evaluations whereby it has shown the presence of Coumarines, Saponins, Phytosterols and Flavonoids along with Carbohydrates, Starch and Fixed Oils. TLC of the extract using Pre Coated Silica gel GF Plate while detected under UV have shown 1 Spot (Rf:0.67) with Ethyl acetate as Mobile Phase, 1 Spot (Rf:0.44) with Benzene: Toluene (4:6) as Mobile Phase and 1 Spot (Rf:0.96) with Benzene: Chloroform (3:7) as Mobile Phase.

The district lies in the western bank of the River Indus. The present study was performed on the weeds of district Rajhanpur and for that four locations were selected, namely; Kot mithan, Rojhan, Chachran sharif and Fazilpur. Quadrate method was used for the Survey, whereby percentage frequency, density and cover were calculated easily by taking each quadrate of 1m Ć 1m. And a questionnaire method was implemented for documentation of ethnomedicinal knowledge. Finally we got some valuable informationās regarding folklore medicines of the region.

During a preliminary survey, we found a very interesting Claim about Anthelmintic Potential of Olive Leaves by a local traditional practitioner practicing in the interiors of Brahmaputra Valley region. This research was conducted to evaluate the possible antihelmintic activity of leaf of Olea Europea using Indian adult earth worm ( Pheretima posthuma ) as a test worm. Various concentration (5%, 2.5%, 1% ) were in ā vitro tested using hydroalcoholic extract and chloroform extract was tested in 0.1% and 0.25% concentrations and the results were involved in terms of time for paralysis (P) and time for death (D). It showed shortest time for paralysis in 5% concentration of Hydroalcoholic extract, while the time for paralysis and death increased in 2.5% and 1% respectively as compared to standard drug Albendazole. The present study indicated...

Cardamom oil was subjected to antimicrobial activity against various grams positive, gram negative bacteria by disc diffusion method. Cardamom oil showed, zone of inhibition in the range of 0.3-0.6 mm against all the tested microorganisms. The volatile oil has shown good antimicrobial potential against Bacillus subtilis (0.6), which is even better than that of the standard drug Amoxicillin.

The extracts were then subjected to antioxidant assay using FTC, TBA, DPPH and Reducing Power assay as models and Antimicrobial assay. The Methanolic extract of the plant root has shown good antioxidant and antimicrobial activity among the extracts under study. The findings of the study here justify the traditional claim against Coccinea cordifolia root.

After that we have subjected the extracts to antioxidant assay using FTC, TBA, DPPH and Reducing Power assay as models and Antimicrobial assay. The Chloroform extract has shown potential antioxidant and antimicrobial activity among all the extracts under evaluation. The findings here justify the ethnomedicinal claim against the plant under consideration. Keywords: Crateva magna, Antioxidant, Antimicrobial, Ethnomedicine.

The isolated Volatile Oils in varying concentrations were studied against Pseudomonas Aeruginosa and Proteus Vulgaris, by paper disc diffusion method, using Streptomycin as standard drug. The result indicated that both Carum Carvi and Coriandrum Sativum has antimicrobial potential and were active against Pseudomonous Aeruginosa selectively, while both oils were ineffective against Proteus Vulgaris.
