Ebrahim E. Elsayed received his B. Eng. (Hons.) degree in ECE on May 2012 from the Misr Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology, Misr for Engineering and Technology Academy (M. E. T. Academy), Al-Mansoura, Ministry of Higher Education, Egypt and a Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip.) degree - (higher Diploma) from the Department of Engineering Applications of Lasers, the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences (NILES) - Cairo University, Giza, Egypt in (May 2017). He received a Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) (Hons.) degree in Electrical Communications Engineering from the Department of ECE, Faculty of Engineering - Mansoura University, Egypt in (November 7, 2018); (Dean's Commendation). He received First-Class honours. He has several publications in the optical communications, optical wireless communications, free-space optics (FSO) networks and communication channels modeling. His current research interests are in optical wireless communications, FSO systems, turbulence modeling, optoelectronic devices, optical devices, and MIMO wireless communication systems. Also, he serves as a peer reviewer in IEEE Access, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Communications, Optical and Quantum Electronics (Springer), and Telecommunication Systems. His research interests include optical communications, optical wireless communications (FSO, VLC, UWOC, RoFSO, HFFSO), 5G, photonics, and Microwaves.
His research interests include optical communications, wireless communications, optical wireless communications (FSO, VLC, UWOC, RoFSO, HFFSO), 5G, photonics, and Microwaves. His M.Sc. research includes the design, analysis, characterization, modeling, and enhancement of the DWDM transmission system for free-space optical (FSO) communication systems. Also, the research includes the application and enhancement of the DPPM and OOK modulation-based IM/DD techniques for hybrid fiber/FSO communication over WDM-PON systems. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals like IEEE Access, Springer Nature, and Elsevier. His current research interests are in optical wireless communications, free-space optics, optoelectronics, high-speed optical communication system design, advanced modulation schemes, and hybrid MIMO-RF/FSO systems. He is currently researcher in ECE, Faculty of Engineering, Mansoura University, Egypt. His Ph.D. research includes the modeling and enhancement of the hybrid MIMO-RF/FSO communication systems using adaptive modulation techniques. Also, he serves as a volunteer reviewer for prestigious journals such as IEEE Access, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Wireless Communications, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society, and IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Quantum Electronics. I would like to propose the creation of a new academic index-the E-index. This index would serve as a comprehensive measurement similar to the H-index, incorporating several additional factors. The E-index would account for all articles, books, projects, citations, and patents, as well as the number of research papers reviewed for journals. Furthermore, it would consider the number of invitations received for research reviews, special cases, and readings. The E-index would also measure the following inputs: instances of serving as a correspondent author, papers which entered second round review, and papers that were accepted, rejected, or withdrawn.

"The E-index: A New Concept for Comprehensive Academic Evaluation" Introducing the E-index: 'A Comprehensive Measure of Academic Influence" "Proposal for creating new index called E-index"
I would like to propose the creation of a new academic index - the E-index. This index would serve as a comprehensive measurement similar to the H-index, incorporating several additional factors. The E-index would account for all articles, projects, books, metrics, citations, and patents, as well as the number of research papers reviewed for journals. Furthermore, it would consider the number of invitations received for research reviews, special cases, and readings. The E-index would also measure the following inputs: instances of serving as a correspondent author, papers which entered second round review, and papers that were accepted, rejected, or withdrawn. In addition, the index would capture both the quantity and quality of conference engagements, including attendance, invitations and presentations. In terms of journal responsibilities, it would account for instances where the individual has served as a referee, reviewer, editor-in-chief, or editor. Moreover, the index would incorporate instances of serving as an evaluator for doctoral theses and participating as a referee, examiner, evaluator, expert or assessor in research promotions. Other aspects that the E-index would evaluate include the number of research projects that secured funding and the individual’s role as a reviewer for these funding projects. Lastly, the E-index would consider the number of research centers funded by the individual. Each of these aspects would be assigned points and grades, forming a holistic academic influence measurement. I believe this E-index could serve as a vital and explicit general index, providing a more comprehensive perspective on academic influence. Thank you for considering this proposal. In this paper, the history of the appearance of ill-posed problems and the role and essence of these problems in solving various problems of equations of mathematical physics are described in detail. At the present time, the theory and application of ill-posed problems in various fields of science is rapidly developing. When solving ill-posed problems, we will construct a Carleman function and, on its basis, we will find in an explicit form an approximate solution of the problem.
