Our proposed scheme performs multi recipient encryption, multi recipient signature and multi recipient signcryption with significant low computation and communication cost by removing the complexity in the internal structure of the existing schemes and use of elliptic curve cryptography.

Secure communication of information is of prime importance, particularly where sending and receiv... more Secure communication of information is of prime importance, particularly where sending and receiving small amount of data in a constrained environment where memory consumption, processing overhead and security become a crucial issue. For such environment light weight secure cryptographic techniques are required. Well known symmetric key cryptographic techniques AES, DES etc. are in use today but are hulking for small amount of data. In this paper, we have proposed a novel technique for secure transmission of small amount of data by applying XOR operation in foremost steps to reduce complexity which leads to low overhead, less memory consumption, faster communication and secure against brute force attacks as compared to existing schemes in the literature.

In this paper the key concept is to present a technique to contribute in cryptography in terms of small amount of data encryption and decryption to generate less overhead and more efficiency. Well known techniques such as DES, AES etc for small amount of data may inefficient so far, in this connection the need for acquiring efficient technique for encrypting small amount of data with efficiency is a major contribution towards this task. Our proposed technique has less communication overhead compare to existing algorithm, by using XOR operation in major steps to eliminate complexity for enhanced cost effective symmetric key algorithm for small amount of data.
