The WikidataCon will take place online on October 29, 30 and 31, 2021.
The first day (Day 1) will start on October 29 at 12:00 UTC (14:00 in Berlin, 09:00 in São Paulo), and will contain the main program of the conference: a series of keynotes, presentations and panel sessions to onboard the participants into the various topics of the conference. It will also include the usual Wikidata birthday celebrations. More information about the program of Day 1 here!
The two following days (Day 2 and Day 3) is built by and for the Wikidata community: the program is split in thematic tracks, and the content is provided by participants.
Livestream
editOn Day 1, the program will be streamed on the wikimedia.de website and on Youtube. However, in order to interact with other participants and attend the social sessions, you need to be registered to access your individual Venueless access link.
On Day 2 & 3, the sessions are not live-streamed publicly: you need your Venueless access link to join the conference rooms.
Schedule
editThe schedule of the conference is available here, hosted on Pretalx. The program is still evolving, some information, times or sessions may change before or during the conference.
With Pretalx, you can enjoy the following features:
- easily access the program from mobile (enter program.wikidatacon.org in your browser)
- change the display of the times to adapt to your own time zone (the default setting is UTC/GMT)
- mark some sessions as favorite by clicking on the start icon, and viewing your own custom schedule by clicking on the star button next to the time zone field
- export the schedule in other formats: iCal, Json, XML, etc.
Other events
editSome events may take place before or after the WikidataCon. See for example the Preconference event, Transbordados, organized by Wiki Movimento Brasil and Goethe Institut.
