Motivation
Han (Chinese) characters correspond to Vietnamese alphabetic words based on Sino-Vietnamese or Nôm reading patterns. This is pretty much the same idea as Wikidata:Property proposal/reading pattern of kanji. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 07:05, 24 May 2018 (UTC)
Discussion
- @mxn: I propose to use the "reading pattern of kanji" proposed above for both purposes, since the language of the Lexeme and the value of the property already make sufficiently disambiguation. Deryck Chan (talk) 14:46, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
- Sounds reasonable. Hopefully we'll be able to use constraints to limit the value to one appropriate for the lexeme's language. – Minh Nguyễn 💬 06:29, 31 May 2018 (UTC)
- Let's close this discussion as merged to sinogram reading pattern (P5244) which has recently been created? Deryck Chan (talk) 12:57, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
