- Comment Agree there needs to be a way to have various indexes, and link individual companies to them. That facility is very important. Its critical where there are active derivative products traded based on the index. Want to note however that many (if not the majority) of indexes are proprietary and subject to copyright. Whatever mechanism there is in Wikidata to build and accommodate indexes should provide up front caution to potential editors of possible copyright violations. Also, index maintenance (especially over time) is a potential issue. The date the company joined (and exited) the index would also be very helpful to retain. - Support Reasonable. I think that usage can be extended to company items as well, I am using part of (P361) for that at the moment, but that is a bit imprecise. --Jklamo (talk) 16:46, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
