Motivation

The Great Ukrainian Encyclopedia is one of the few encyclopedias in the post-Soviet space, along with the Great Russian and Lithuanian Universal Encyclopedias, which has not only printed but also electronic versions. Comment: согласен, как раз вы его подавали на утверждение 3,5 года назад. Если же одобрят свойство, то будет аж три украинские энциклопедии с официальными онлайн-версиями: ЭИУ, ЭСУ и БУЭ. К тому же, онлайн-версия БУЭ очень похожа на украинскую Википедию и работает на движке MediaWiki, но здесь доступ простым смертным для редактирования, как в Британнике, закрыт.
