Motivation

There is the possibility of creating a link to the EDIT16 catalogue, that is a validated repository of authority files about 16th-century books and printers, as well as authors and/or other known people up to that century. The repository, run by Istituto Centrale per il Catalogo Unico (Q3803707), is relatively small and very well curated, and insists on an area where Wikimedia projects are not so knowledgeable about.
