Report concerning User:Kambaiyu75
editItem/lexeme creations and statements added by this user for the most part are nonsense. E.g. their last item Q131279322 has two statements that don't add up, and there's no other information based on which the item could be cleared up. In their lexemes like invalid ID (L1378339) all statements individually are nonsense. Hard to say if they deliberately enter nonsense or if they just have no understanding of what they are doing. Probably all their items/lexemes should be deleted and user should be blocked. 2001:7D0:81F8:9A80:EC43:3A7B:4AED:5ED7 09:28, 19 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Kambaiyu75 please explain what you are doing? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 10:18, 19 November 2024 (UTC)

- Unless we get a response soon, I'm inclined to delete all of the lexemes as nonsense. Their items make a little more sense, but fail to establish notability. Bovlb (talk) 00:36, 22 November 2024 (UTC)

- I reviewed contributions from some other participants in this datathon. I found a lot of items that had no indication of notability, several empty items, and a number of duplicate items. There's also a lot of lexemes, but I'm not really qualified to judge them. It looks like this program did not prepare its participants to contribute effectively. - I looked through the contributions of more participants of this event. I see many more new editors leaping straight into mass item creation without a strong grasp on notability, often creating empty items and duplicates. The editors don't seem to be responsive to feedback. I wish there was a way to ensure that such organized events started off with training that emphasized the importance of these points. - It looks like this one is set to disappear with no response. I for one am getting a little tired of these externally-imposed WMF-funded programs that result in bulk item creation with inadequate training, no respect for local policies and norms, and a failure to engage with the community. Is it time for us to consider something akin to en:Wikipedia:Village_pump_(WMF)/Archive_6#RfC_to_issue_a_non-binding_resolution_to_the_Wikimedia_Foundation? Bovlb (talk) 03:58, 2 December 2024 (UTC)
- With the exception of a redirected duplicate, I have deleted the remaining creations by this user, none of which had any indications of notability. Bovlb (talk) 20:08, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

Report concerning User:Ninijyo
editNinijyo (talk • contribs • deleted contribs • logs • filter log • block user • block log • SUL (for IP: GUC)) — Reasons: The addition of discriminatory language. Adding wrong words. She has been blocked indefinitely on the Japanese Wikipedia, repeating the same problem there ―呉野 (talk) 13:19, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
She was unanimously and indefinitely blocked on the Japanese Wikipedia[1], and is doing the problematic behavior she was doing there again here. She is probably Japanese, but her Japanese language skills are poor, and many articles on the Japanese Wikipedia was damaged by her poor quality editing in Japanese. She also wrote a lot of false information. Perhaps she is convinced that her various writings are correct, even though they are wrong. It would be difficult to converse with her in Japanese, but it would also be impossible to communicate with her in English.
On the Japanese Wikipedia we warned her, but she never understood that her edits were wrong. She ignored the attention of other users, was convinced that she was right, insisted to the end that she was being persecuted by other users, and did not follow the rules. She does not understand what it means to follow the rules.
I will exemplify some of the problematic edits. It is so many that we will not present them all.
- ニューハーフ(New half)[2] :She adds discriminatory terms.
- 男の娘(Otokonoko)[3] : She adds original terms not in common use.
- トランスジェンダーの女性(trans woman)[4] : 「性別不適合者」 are “gender incongruence people” not “trans women” ,and 「性転換者」 are “people who have undergone sex reassignment surgery,” which is wrong.
She is unable to distinguish between the term and terms that have similar but different meanings. Nor can she distinguish between it and a related term. Because she believes she is right, her behavior does not improve when she is warned, and she is probably unable to recognize her own mistakes.
She may appear to be making edits that are not that destructive, but she is adding the wrong terms and changing the definitions of terms with her own sensibilities. She believes her senses are correct and cannot understand that there is a problem with editing based on her senses. If she is not blocked, her seemingly harmless vandalism of data will continue and the damage will be done. I have corrected her problematic edits where possible, but I have no intention of being active on Wikidata and will not clean up her mess any further. I will not warn her further either, as it is impossible for me to make her change her behavior. Since she has been causing problems not only on the Japanese Wikipedia, but also on Wikimedia[5], I recommend that the entire project block her indefinitely.--呉野 (talk) 13:19, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- You always make excuses. It's you who is rude.--Ninijyo (talk) 13:54, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- To prove that you are right and I am wrong, you need to be specific and logical in your rebuttal. You have caused so much damage to the Japanese Wikipedia that it was unanimously blocked indefinitely. Not a single person defended you. You did not cause a little trouble, you caused a great deal of it. And you should recognize that you are causing the same trouble here and now. But you cannot accurately recognize the damage you have caused. This project is not your playground.--呉野 (talk) 14:21, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- In the notice I submitted in November, two users agreed to block her indefinitely[6]. Could you please read this request and consider whether there is really no problem in leaving her alone? I have been receiving incoherent abuse from her on her talk page. I hope that I never see her cause any more trouble for the project.--呉野 (talk) 12:15, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
@Ninijyo:I told you on your talk page that I would no longer respond there and that if you had something to say, you have to write it here. Should you have something to say, please write it here. You should explain your editing problems and your attitude towards the project as pointed out to you, instead of picking a quarrel with me in unintelligible Japanese on the talk page. You claim that you have taken the warnings of the users of the Japanese Wikipedia seriously and improved your behavior, but I don't think nobody thinks so. To be clear, you have not changed at all. If you wanted to work on these projects, you should have first expressed your sincere regret on the Japanese Wikipedia, explained what was wrong with you, and asked to be unblocked. I am appalled that you would move to a project where no one knows you and repeat the same trouble. Kokage si reported your problem to the Japanese Wikipedia, and I was embarrassed when I viewed your edit history and your talk page. --呉野 (talk) 05:16, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
@Estopedist1:I was wondering if I could ask something? Is it customary for Penn Station to respond to problems that occur in the Japanese language? If he is not available, how is this issue handled? --呉野 (talk) 10:38, 14 December 2024 (UTC)

Deletion of Q11385436
editChecking the constraint reports I found one about the item Shūya Yoshimoto (Q11385436) was deleted by Penn Station a few months ago for not meeting the notability criteria. That item is still connected to Q17232495 and Q120333275, so I suppose that it needs to be undeleted because there is a structural need for Shūya Yoshimoto (Q11385436) to exist or the other two should be deleted for not meeting the notability criteria neither. In any case I already tried contacting Penn Station in their talk page a few weeks ago without answer. Then, I requested help about this in the Project chat, which is where they directed me here. -- Agabi10 (talk) 23:28, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
- This item was about Japanese actor Shūya Yoshimoto (IMDB). It was deleted after the deletion of its only sitelink (by the same admin). At the time of deletion it had seven identifiers, and one other source URL, now dead. It is hard to determine how many incoming links it had when deleted. Bovlb (talk) 05:27, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
- No-one is raising an objection, and the deleting admin has had ample opportunity to respond, so I have gone ahead and undeleted. Bovlb (talk) 16:19, 12 December 2024 (UTC)

- We still gotta take a decision on the image, tho Trade (talk) 22:18, 12 December 2024 (UTC)
- If there's an interim government until march and there have have been no official statement of flag change, then the original flag is still the official one. Wikipedia have a lot of sources on rebels and some embassies raising an old flag presumably for symbolic reasons. Not sure why some editors are confused by this. Infrastruktur (talk) 00:04, 13 December 2024 (UTC)
- If we look at article 6 of the syrian constitution it describes the flag. I'm sure even a superior (invading) force would recognize it would look hella weird to declare a new flag without changing the constitution - effectively making a new flag unconstitutional. And to my knowledge no such declaration have been made. I don't lightly revert established editors, instead I hope I make a convincing enough argument. Nakba item
edit@Nicoljaus is edit-warring in Nakba (Q3266633) for his biased changes presenting Nakba as a ‘narrative’ and not as a thing that actually happened and refuses to follow the standard bold-revert-discuss cycle. The page needs to be reverted to the state pre-their edits. stjn[ru] 12:31, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
- not as a thing that actually happened - As I said twice, there are two elements on Wikidata, 1948 Palestinian exodus (Q13220089) and Nakba (Q3266633). I just don't understand the complaints. Nicoljaus (talk) 15:45, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
Take a look
editCan you take a look at the history https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Category:Burundi&action=history of the Commons-c:Category:Burindi. Today there are 4 users with spam.
I checked the 4 users in wikidata. I think all logged in at the same time period and looks also like spam. Maybe useless items can be deleted? or they can be blocked?
