Babel
editBabel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g. {{#babel:de-N|en-3|es-1|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. With the same language codes you can add links to your userpage on Wikipedia e.g. de:User:User123. --Tobias1984 (talk) 13:40, 8 February 2014 (UTC)

Adding instance_of when adding the Japanese company numbers
editAs far as I see you currently add Japanese company numbers to many statements that currently don't have instance of (P31). Maybe you can access while you are in the process of adding data to those entities whether you can also add instance of (P31)? ChristianKl (talk) 16:03, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- ChristianKl: Not only companies but also other organizations (associations, foundations, churches, temples, coops, etc) liable to taxation have their own Corporate Number (Q18535356). So I think it’s hard to deduce the appropriate class for each item from its Corporate Number. --Yuatcha (talk) 16:26, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- It seems that the entities that you listed are all subclasses of organization (Q43229). It wouldn't be perfect but it would be an improvement about the status quo without any instance of (P31). ChristianKl (talk) 16:51, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- The following query lists 100 items with Corporate Number but without ‘instance of’ statement. The statement ‘instance of organization’ looks inappropriate for at least Tōkyō District Court (Q82678) in the list. --Yuatcha (talk) 17:14, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

SELECT ?item ?itemLabel
WHERE {
?item wdt:P3225 _:corporateNumber .
FILTER NOT EXISTS { ?item wdt:P31 _:c }
SERVICE wikibase:label { bd:serviceParam wikibase:language "en" }
}
LIMIT 100
- court (Q41487) does subclass Corporate Number (Q18535356) over the chain tribunal (Q1412224), organ of state (Q15708736), government organization (Q4146613). ChristianKl (talk) 22:17, 7 October 2016 (UTC)
- Labeling those items with ‘instance of organization’ is a kind of last resort. No need to do it now. --Yuatcha (talk) 11:38, 9 October 2016 (UTC)

John G. Thompson, the Mathematician
editYou added special:Diff/357723444 but when I look at that entry, it seems that this is not the mathematican. Google translates the Source to "Industrial capitalist organization". But since that is your native language, I ask before I revert it. Thanks --Wurgl (talk) 11:16, 4 November 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, NDL 00550783 refers to a different person with the same name. You can revert it. Thanks. --Yuatcha (talk) 11:25, 4 November 2017 (UTC)

Kogaiseikatsu (talk,contribs) 09:21, 5 July 2023 (UTC)
- 編集内容確認しました。Q215848 に追加したものは、ご指摘のような「良質な記事」バッジではなく、「internatonal sitelink to redirect」というバッジです。「Wikidata:Sitelinks_to_redirects/ja」の規定どおりの使い方ですので、適切なものと考えます。--Yuatcha (talk) 00:25, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
Kogaiseikatsu (talk,contribs) 00:39, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- 確認・修正いたしました。「internatonal sitelink to redirect」を付与する際に誤って「良質な記事」のバッジをクリックしてしまっていたようです。「良質な記事」のバッジは削除しました。ご指摘ありがとうございました。--Yuatcha (talk) 02:53, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
