Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia

Personal Trainer: Walking

It's the sequel to Pokémon Ranger. We designed a mechanic to improve the Capture Styler's power by clearing quests, and a "capture arena" facility for better replayability. "The game's tagline, Vatonage, is inspired by drinking. It is based on the wine term, "bâtonnage", which was an idea from Mr. Ishihara." (Katsuyoshi Irie) (March 20, 2008).

In Personal Trainers: Walking, the attached pedometer measures the number of steps per minute. You can check when and how much you walked. Many minigames that make walking more fun were included. (November 1, 2008)

Trivia

  • Uxie was one of the most widely-used Pokémon in the previous Modified format, due to its Set Up ability. Set Up's ability to draw up to seven cards when Uxie is played from the hand, in combination with its Psychic Restore attack to compensate for a poor Uxie start, made Uxie a staple drawing card in many decks. Because it was such a useful card, Uxie's price and trade value skyrocketed far above that of most normal rares.

Origin

This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Diamond.
