Thank you, and have a good time editing here! GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:49, 5 July 2018 (UTC) |
Linking moves
Just so you know, whenever you're linking to a Pokémon move, it's important to use the {{m}} template, as shown, for simplicity's sake. For example, {{m|Sticky Web}} is the correct usage. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 05:50, 23 July 2018 (UTC)
Edit Warring
Please don't edit war as what you're doing on Life Orb. If FinnishPokéfan92 or anyone else for that matter reverts your edit and you're not satisfied, talk to them on their talk page. Edit Warring is against the code of conduct. Thank You. Ice Cream 09:42, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
Talk pages
Talk pages are for suggesting improvements to articles, not for random comments. Leaving random comments can be seen as vandalism. Thank you.--ForceFire 02:50, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
Edit Warring
Please do not revert or add back information that was removed, it constitutes as edit warring and is a blockable offense. If you have a problem with an edit, take it up to the talk page of the disputed article or the user that reverted you. Thank you. --ForceFire 06:51, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
"You"
Please refrain from using the word "you" on mainspace articles, instead use the term "the player". Thank you.--ForceFire 07:39, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
Availability by glitch
Please do not add glitches in the availability templates, they are not a legitimate way to obtain Pokémon, i.e. a player cannot obtain them via normal gameplay (exploiting a glitch is not normal gameplay). Thank you.--ForceFire 04:10, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
- Not only is this the second time you will be told about this, this is also the second time that you have ignored a warning message. Glitches are not a legitimate way to obtain Pokémon, so they have no place in the availability template. Please actually read your talk page and take the messages seriously. If you continue to ignore your messages, you may be blocked. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:02, 1 March 2019 (UTC)
Creating discussions
If you want to bring up something on a talk page regarding multiple articles, please choose one of those articles to create a discussion on, do not make a discussion on all three articles. It is unnecessary and can be considered spamming. And seeing as you have a history of it, acknowledge that you have read this message by responding to it. I do not want to come back here to warn you of the same thing again.--ForceFire 04:22, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
Your userpage
While the teams and all are fine, the stuff below it (regarding your school) isn't. Bulbapedia is not a blog, it is not the place for that kind of stuff. If you want to mention that, you can do it elsewhere, but not here. I'll give you a moment to remove all that stuff before I remove it myself. Thank you.--ForceFire 03:01, 23 March 2019 (UTC)
Blocked
Since you have ignored my messages about your userpage, you have been blocked for two weeks. As I've said before, Bulbapedia is not a personal blog. Bulbapedia is not facebook, it is not tumblr. Bulbapedia is NOT the place for that sort of thing. You can put that elsewhere, but NOT on Bulbapedia. As in, off the site, on another site. Any further attempts to add that into your userpage will result in a longer block. Thank you.--ForceFire 15:31, 27 March 2019 (UTC)
Other user's userpages
Please don't edit other user's userpages without their permission. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:34, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
- I do that mainly for fixing grammatical errors. I'll be aware for not doing edits on other Bulbapedians' (=people contributing to Bulbapedia) userpages without their permission, or doing edits for fixing grammatical errors unless I won't give the edit summary. --TheICTLiker4 (talk) 17:25, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Signing
Please remember to always sign your comments. You can sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) or clicking the signature stamp () on the top of the edit box. It should also be noted that once your comment has been marked as unsigned, you cannot replace it with your signature as it will give off the wrong time stamp. Thank you for taking your time to read this message, have a good day. --ForceFire 04:54, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I forgot that, but I'll be sure to remember next. I didn't even know that Lombrero has an account on Bulbapedia, yet I have written to him on the German wiki. I've got an idea about the animated 3D models: to see the model animated, should one person click on it. I edited this post a little:
--TrikephaloFan635 (Diskussion) 09:57, 29. Jun. 2019 (CEST)
- The changed post translates to English like this:
- Should the GIF files be on PokéWiki?
- I think that AniPNG files are better than GIF files. They occupy less space in the server, have better quality and color palette. If you want to make AniPNG files, you need to download AniPNG (see here). You have to click “Download gif2apng”. GIF files need to be limited to buttons. The English Pokémon encyclopedia, Bulbapedia, has AniPNG files. That existed on Bulbapedia for a long time. Thank you for reading. -- TrikephaloFan635 (discussion) 09:57, 29 June 2019 (CEST)
- OK, about the 3D models, we'll talk on your talk page. Einen schönen Tag! --TheICTLiker4 12:52, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
Copy and pasting
If you want to bring something up, please do not copy and paste the text or coding of whatever article you are on, it is completely unnecessary and adds more bytes to the talk page than necessary. Instead, just type out what the issue is. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:28, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
Bulbabot
Please do not comment on Bulbabot's talk page, you are unlikely to get a response.--ForceFire 07:26, 18 August 2019 (UTC)
Talk page etiquette
Hey there! Please take a look at the talk page policy before your next edit to a talk page. Please note that talk page comments left by other users should not be edited, even if there's grammatical/spelling errors. Also, as a general rule of thumb, comments 6 months or older should not be responded to, unless the comment has something new to offer to the discussion. If you have any further questions about this don't hesitate to reach out! Thanks. --Pokemaster97 00:07, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
Other user's talk pages
Please do not customize other user's talk pages, like you did to Raltseye's talk page. It is not your talk page, you do not have permission to customize it. You have been warned for a similar thing before. If a user page or talk page doesn't have your name on it, then you do not have permission to customize it. Thank you.--ForceFire 17:06, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
Redirects
Only create redirects of common misspellings or spellings that an English-speaking user might actually search for. No one is going to search Typ:Null or Tipo Zero for Type: Null. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:50, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
Talk pages of inactive users
Please don't comment on talk pages of inactive users, especially those that haven't been active in nearly a decade. You are not likely to get a response. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:59, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry! I thought, just because of his Crystal Bulbasaur Award, that Shiningpikablu252 is active! --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 06:01, 19 October 2019 (UTC)
Blocked, again
As you have ignored my message about editing other user's userpages or editing talk pages of inactive members, you have been blocked once more. I have already told you, if it is not yours, do not touch it. Only to fix errors in templates or remove unwanted red links. Every other time, DO NOT take it upon yourself to edit their userpage. And do not add messages to users that haven't been active in a long time. You can check a user's activity by going to their contribution and seeing when they made their most recent edit. If you come back to do these two offences again, you will be blocked again. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:16, 23 October 2019 (UTC)
- Fixing supposed indent "errors" falls under the above as well. There's no point in bumping a talk page from years ago to fix the formatting of the comments; this is not one of the exceptions in the talk page policy. Similarly, don't ask for clarification on the rule violations that you were blocked for and continue with that behavior before you get a response. This is your final warning for these types of edits. --Abcboy (talk) 20:44, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- But really! I was breaking PokéWiki's rules recently and Taisuke blocked me for 2 weeks. The post that Taisuke has written looks like this:
“Da du dich weiterhin nicht zügeln lässt und fremde Benutzerseiten ohne Erlaubnis bearbeitest, habe ich dich auch im PokéWiki für zwei Wochen gesperrt.” - Taisuke |
- I am thinking of creating the template {{Blocked}}, which will be placed on all user pages of blocked users (except those of users with unacceptable usernames). But abcboy, I don't see that fixing indent "errors" falls under editing someone's userpage on the talk page policy. Also, I want this usertag to appear on my usertag list, under "encyclopedia thing" (Note: it doesn't show up):
Why do fires block me? |
- --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 21:11, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- "Please do not edit another user's discussion—even if it's full of spelling errors." Unless the comment's creating a red link, a broken template, or the like, this applies to all talk page comments and mistakes. For the most part, the edits you've been making are pointless and unnecessarily clogging up people's watchlists as well as bumping discussions that have long since died. --Abcboy (talk) 21:39, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 21:11, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
- We don't need a "Blocked" template. Why does it matter if a user is blocked? No need to name and shame. You being blocked on another wiki is no relevance to us. But since that you were blocked for the exact same reason over there, it really shows that you feel you have some authority to be able to edit anyone's userpage as you please. Newsflash, you don't. You must ask for permission if you want to edit someone's userpage to add/change something. The only thing that you can edit a userpage freely for is to fix redlinks or broken template.--ForceFire 05:13, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
- Resetting indent should be after indent has been applied 10 times (example structure of indents):

- There is no rule on when to reset the indent, and there doesn't really need to be. That's up to the user making the next comment whether they want to continue the indents or reset it.--ForceFire 08:32, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
- Force Fire, because you said that the edit I have done on Bikini Miltank was fine, I reverted your rollback (do not insult me due to the reason earlier specified and refer to your talk page). --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 18:46, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

Usertag policy
Per the usertag policy, new usertags need to be approved before being mainspaced. This includes any categories that they use. --Abcboy (talk) 19:01, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
How do I "advertise" the use of my user created usertag? --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 19:10, 7 November 2019 (UTC)Oh, Coffee has one! I think you should do this on my usertags page:
Replace{{User:TheICTLiker4/Template:User GO Team|Valor}}
with{{User:Coffee/Sandbox/Template:User GO Team|Valor}}
.Delete the template{{User:TheICTLiker4/Template:User GO Team}}
. --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 17:13, 8 November 2019 (UTC)
New templates
Please don't just create new templates in the mainspace. Make them in your userspace and the staff will decide whether it is needed or not. Thank you.--ForceFire 11:45, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- Force Fire, I think you meant the Template namespace. Also, thank you for protecting the article “Max Overgrowth”. --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 12:01, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
RE: Unused trades from Crystal
Hi. I see. Thank you! ^^ Chickasaurus (talk) 14:54, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
Moves
May I know where you are getting the new moves? If they are from the leak or from the datamine, I must ask you to cease making them. Anything from the leak or datamine should not be added until after the games are released. Thank you.--ForceFire 18:12, 11 November 2019 (UTC)
- I got these data not from leaks, but from the following pages:

Subpage talkpage
Don't redirect your subpage talk pages to your userpage, it is completely unnecessary and will be confusing when someone wants to actually make a comment on one of your subpages. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:20, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
- Force Fire, it's somehow on Wikipedia that a template's /sandbox and /testcases subpages don't have their own talk pages, but rather a redirect to the main talk page of the template. --TheICTLiker4piszże do mnie 12:31, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- We are not Wikipedia. Just because they do something, doesn't mean we have to follow suit.--ForceFire 12:56, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

Editing other people's comments
Don't edit other people's talk page comments. If someone wants to use a URL rather than a special page or interwiki prefix on a talk page, leave it be.
I hope you realise that I do in fact have email notifications enabled for my own talk page, so every one of those pointless edits resulted in me getting an email, which I do not appreciate. (Maybe people who have email notifications enabled for their watchlist are used to that kind of spam, but I'm not.) --SnorlaxMonster 23:19, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- Since your last block, you've continued editing other people's talk page comments despite multiple warnings that this is against the talk page policy. As such, you've been blocked for one month. --Abcboy (talk) 23:37, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
- @SnorlaxMonster: Sorry. I forgot to mark all other edits as minor, but I think you could hide such edits (hide only the content and the edit summaries). I think I couldn't do ANY of these edits due to this being against the policy.
- @abcboy: Hello. I added interwikis to the Chinese article about Pokémon Nursery, but BulbaBot/WikiBot forgot to add interwikis to other EP projects. It took 24 hours after such edits:
- I will be very careful now. --キーAコン 09:34, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
Signature policy
As per the signature policy, your signature needs to reflect your username. キーAコン has no clear relationship to your username. Please change your signature to follow that. --Abcboy (talk) 21:29, 8 January 2020 (UTC)
- Latest signature change summary: Reverted to the default signature. However, I will have this signature about which you warned me after my username will be changed. (Yes, you cannot change usernames, as you don't have the
renameuser
user right on both the Archives and Bulbanews). --TheICTLiker4 (talk) 17:30, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
Moving articles
Please don't move an article when there has no even been a consensus, or discussion,on the talk page. While I don't mind the No Eggs Discovered article being moved as that is the official name, but in all other cases, do not just move an article. Wait for there to be a consensus. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:22, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
- Okay. I will also ask at least 3 active staff members before moving a page in the mainspace. If two staff members will agree, I will move the page. However, if a staff member suggests the move, I will ask just two. Have a nice day. --TheICTLiker4 (talk) 07:41, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
