The Fire Type Week event was held between May 6 and May 13, 2024 and featured the debut of Vulpix and Ninetales in Pokémon Sleep. This event also served as a precursor to the Entei Research event where the legendary beast Entei was going to debut. Among the bonuses for the event included the Mini Candy Boost and increased Fire-type spawns regardless of sleep type. There was also a guaranteed Pokémon to appear hungry after the players first sleep research of the day, an effect which stacked with the Good Camp Ticket and the Friend Incense. Furthermore, type specific candy was introduced into the game.

Event Bonuses

This event had access to the Mini Candy Boost which granted twice the usual amount of experience from Candy, but used four times the amount of Dream Shards per candy. This could be used for up to 50 candies a day. Compared to the previous event, less Dream Shards are used and there was a lower limit of candies that could be used per day.

This event corresponded with the introduction of Vulpix and Ninetales in Greengrass Isle and Taupe Hollow. The three star sleep styles were exclusive to Taupe Hollow.

Increased encounter chance

During this event, Fire-type Pokémon had a greater chance of being encountered. There were no boosted spawns at Snowdrop Tundra or Lapis Lakeside as there are no Fire-type Pokémon spawns in these area, however the remainder of the event bonuses were active.

Bundles
