Information

Just your average kid, wanting to rule the world beat the Elite Four.

Although he's young, he lives by himself in his Secret Base. He loves it there.

In the games

In order to battle Robin, you have to find him Underground or find him training on Iron Island (Friday).

If your Pokémon version is Diamond, you'll find him somewhere beneath Sunnyshore City. He is also able to be re-battled without the use of the Vs Seeker, which can help the player raise his/her Pokémon. His Pokémon's levels will increase with each two rounds you fight him, which will make him a more versatile opponent.

Trivia

  • Robin doesn't let his Pokémon evolve (if any), instead he keeps them as their first evolution.
    • Although, it has been noted that he had let his previously owned Pokémon evolve once, before he traded it for Farfetch'd.
  • Robin also feeds his Pokémon poffins everyday, often competing in the local Contest.
  • Despite being a Grunt in Team Galactic, he is often in disguise.
    • He has mentioned to other Trainers/Grunts that he is "well capable" and "more battle-worthy" than the current Commanders.
  • If you talk to him after you beat him (level 100), he'll make mention to the player's rival. He comments,"That kid is quite the uhh... busybody, isn't he? It makes me wonder how he battles with his Pokémon."
  • He is possibly the only Pokémon trainer in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl whose Pokémon are given nicknames.
