Effect
In battle
Solid Rock reduces damage from super-effective moves by 25%. For example, a move that would do 2× damage will do 1.5× damage instead.
Outside of battle
Solid Rock has no effect outside of battle.

In Explorers of Time, Darkness, and Sky, Solid Rock reduces damage from super effective moves by 25%.
In Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, it reduces the damage by about 12.5%.

- All Pokémon with Solid Rock have at least one 4× weakness. Camerupt is the only Pokémon with Solid Rock not to have a 4× weakness to Grass.
- Solid Rock originated as a TCG Poké-BODY.
- Despite the name of this Ability, Solid Rock was given to more Ground-type Pokémon than Rock types in its debut generation.
