Sinnoh Pokémon Hustle
Sinnoh Pokémon Hustle (Japanese: ポケモンハッスル Pokémon Hustle) is an animated series-exclusive game show in which contestants attempt to complete an obstacle course. It seems to be based on a traditional Japanese variety show.
In Beating the Bustle and Hustle!, Jessie, James, and Meowth decided to set up a fake Sinnoh Pokémon Hustle in Greenstation Town in order to steal Pokémon and recruit a new Team Rocket member.
The competition is one of the most popular television shows in the Sinnoh region, along with the Pokémon Dress-Up Contest and Sinnoh Now. Both Dawn and James are fans of the show.
Competition
The Sinnoh Pokémon Hustle is a competition in which Trainers and their Pokémon work together to try and clear a series of challenging physical obstacles, and the team that succeeds wins a prize. In the fake competition set up by Team Rocket, the prize was unlimited travel privileges throughout Sinnoh in a balloon.
In order to succeed, Trainers and Pokémon must be physically fit and have sharp reflexes. While luck may factor into a team's result, the obstacles are meant to test endurance and agility. In addition, Trainers and Pokémon are expected to display exceptional cooperation skills during the entire course.
In the competition organized by Team Rocket, Trainers were asked to leave their extra Poké Balls with staff so that their Pokémon could be sent to a refreshment room, where they would get to eat Old Gateau and Lum Berries. However, the Poké Balls were actually placed in a box as part of Team Rocket's plan to steal the participants' Pokémon.
By the end of the second stage, Jessie, James, and Meowth had decided to recruit Crimson and Azure. Before ending the competition, however, they went to check the box where the Poké Balls had been placed and learned that it was empty. They soon discovered that the Pokémon had been stolen by Crimson and Azure, a duo of thieves with no intention to join Team Rocket. In the end, Officer Jenny, who was competing in disguise, arrested the duo and the Poké Balls were safely returned to their Trainers.
Stages
Due to Team Rocket deciding to recruit Crimson and Azure midway through the competition, only two stages were shown. However, there were other stages planned, one of which involved Trainers and Pokémon going up a ramp while dodging foam boulders.
Stage | Description | |

#1 | Trainers and Pokémon need to cross two logs, one of which spins. | |
#2 | Trainers and Pokémon need to cross a pond using a rope and get past a rotary drum. |
