Russet
Russet (Japanese: イモタロー Imotarō) is a minor recurring character in Pokémon the Series who competed in the Vertress Conference. He is from Inakano Town.
History
Russet debuted in Curtain Up, Unova League! on the screen of the preliminary match-ups. After that, he reappeared in Mission: Defeat Your Rival! on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round, meaning that he had made it through the first round. In Lost at the League!, it was revealed that he had made it through the second and third rounds as well when he appeared on the screens again. Later in the episode, when Iris's Axew got lost, he appeared with his friends and family, celebrating his progress.
He battled Manning in the fourth round in Strong Strategy Steals the Show! and won, making his way to the quarterfinals. In A Unova League Evolution!, he battled Virgil and lost, placing him in the Top 8. Afterwards, he appeared once again during the closing ceremonies of the Vertress Conference.
Pokémon
Eelektross is the only Pokémon that Russet is known to have. It briefly battled Manning's Jellicent and won.
Eelektross's only known move is Thunderbolt.
It is presumed that Russet has five other Pokémon with him since he was required to compete in the final rounds of the Vertress Conference, which consists of Full Battles.
