Pikachu (Japanese: ピカチュウ Pikachu) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon card. It is one of the P Promotional cards.
Card text
Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Pikachu during your opponent's next turn.
Flip a coin. If tails, Pikachu does 10 damage to itself.

This card's ID is Z-02-#. The short strip contains Pokédex information, a brief card summary, and information on the content of the long strip.

Animation
The long strip contains data for the Exciting Hide and Seek animation. Larvitar from the P Promotional card collection is also required to play it.
Release information
In Japan, this card was released in conjunction with the Pokémon Card e ANA Special '01 Version campaign. Passengers flying on any domestic All Nippon Airways flight between July 13, 2001 and September 30, 2001 could redeem their boarding passes for a two-card set that included this card and Larvitar.
