Milton
Milton (Japanese: ハワード Howard) is a character of the day who appeared in A Dairy Tale Ending. He is the uncle of Goldenrod Gym Leader Whitney.
Milton runs a Miltank dairy on the outskirts of Goldenrod City, which Whitney thinks is the greatest. On the dairy, he milks and takes care of his Miltank, as well as making his own dairy products, such as cheese and yogurt. Although Ash had a Gym battle with his niece before and lost, he battled her again, this time unofficially, on Milton's farm. While Ash used three Pokémon, Whitney only used her own Miltank. This time, Ash managed to win. Although Ash was not sure if he won fair and square, Milton stated to Ash that he believes that the most important aspect of winning a Badge is beating the Gym Leader's top Pokémon. Whitney then gave Ash the Plain Badge.
His farm is based on the in-game Moomoo Farm, despite being located near Goldenrod City instead of on Route 39.

Milton has many Miltank which graze in his Miltank Dairy. He milks and takes care of these Miltank, as well as making his own dairy products, such as cheese and yogurt. They were seen throughout the episode, mostly seen being milked.

- Milton being a cowboy and his Japanese name could be a reference to Ronald Howard, who played a cowboy in the film Cowboy in Africa.
