Keith (Japanese: キクマ Kikuma) is a character of the day who appeared in The Evolutionary War!.

Keith

Keith lives on Island B, one of the A-B-C Islands. He attends school over on Island A. Unlike many on Island B, he prefers Huntail over Gorebyss. Because of this, he had a rivalry with Nancy from Island C, who prefers Gorebyss.

He and the group joined Professor Birch's visits to Islands C and B to discover more about Clamperl and its branched Evolution. After Birch learned that the islands' waters contained DeepSeaScale or DeepSeaTooth extract, Keith tagged along again. On Island C Nancy located a DeepSeaTooth and gave it to Keith. Likewise, Keith ended up finding a DeepSeaScale on Island B and gave it to Nancy, and she used it to evolve her Clamperl into her desired Gorebyss.

When Team Rocket came by and tried to steal his and Nancy's Pokémon, Grovyle freed the Pokémon with Leaf Blade. Afterwards, they worked together to defeat Team Rocket's mecha, sending them blasting off. As a result, Keith and Nancy were finally able to end their rivalry with each other and waved goodbye to Ash and his friends.
