Release information

This card was released in the English Dragons Exalted expansion, originating first from the Japanese Dragon Blade expansion, with artwork by 5ban Graphics. It was later reprinted in the English Plasma Freeze expansion, originating from the Japanese Thunder Knuckle expansion, with different artwork by Ayaka Yoshida as an Ultra-Rare Secret card. It was reprinted again with different artwork by Masakazu Fukuda in the English Legendary Treasures expansion, first originating from the Japanese EX Battle Boost.

Origin

The Plasma Freeze print features a Shiny Garchomp. Dragonblade is the name of the Japanese expansion in which the original print of Garchomp was released. This card's Dragons Exalted and Legendary Treasures Pokédex entries comes from Pokémon Black and White. The Pokémon League of Unova is featured in the Dragons Exalted illustration. The plane that provides travel between Mistralton City and Lentimas Town, as well as one of the cargo planes parked at Mistralton City are depicted in the Legendary Treasures illustration.
