The Dragon Gem (Japanese: ドラゴンジュエル Dragon Jewel) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It is one of the Gems and is an unobtainable held item in Generation VI onwards.

Effect

Generation V

When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Dragon-type move used by 50%, and is consumed after use.

Fling will fail if the user is holding a Dragon Gem.

Generation VI onward

When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Dragon-type move used by 30%, and is consumed after use.
