Worldwide are the most common complication during pregnancy and that increase contributes to maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. Methodology: A descriptive case control study was applied on women who have gestational hypertension at primary health care centers in AL-Najaf City, through period from 8 th October 2017 to 17 th September 2018, in order to assess risk factors contributed to gestational hypertension , as well as to determine the prevalence of risk factors by age ,level of education, occupation and body weight. A cluster sampling method including as (100) women with gestational hypertension study group and (100) women without gestational hypertension control group. A questionnaire composed of five parts was used, including demographic information, medical history, reproductive history, lifestyle and psychological stress. Results: The results showed the significant relationship between gestational hypertension and women over age 35>, obesity, family history of hypertension and psychological stress. Conclusions: The study concluded that Risk factors included in the study that found relationship to gestational hypertension, with evidence that women in the control group were not affected by the risk factors. Recommendation: Early detection and management of mothers with gestational hypertension should be mandatory as part of focused antenatal care and follow up, Health education of the hypertension pregnant women regarding the risk factor which effect on their blood pressure by medical and nursing staff.

The current study aimed to determine the level of general health status among generator workers in Al Diwaniyah City Iraq, and its correlation with noise and demographic data. A descriptive cross-sectional design was conducted in the current study. It was carried out at the private electrical generators in A-Diwaniyah City from the period between the 15th of October 2020 until the 15th of March 2021. A purposive study of 150 generator workers has been selected .General health was determined by General Health questionnaire (GHQ-28) which is comprised of 28 items, and include four aspects : somatic, social , depression and anxiety. Noise intensity level was measured by sound level meter (SLM). The results of the present study revealed that average level of noise intensity inside the workers' room was (78.12 db) ; while it was (104.14 db) near the generator. The results also showed that the assessment of most domain (social, depression, and anxiety) was moderate, except for somatic domain which it was good. There was a significant negative correlation between noise and depression and anxiety. It has been concluded that : Most of the generator workers showed a moderate level of general health status ; Most of the generators workers had moderate level for anxiety, depression and social aspects ; Noise intensities inside the generator rooms exceeds the upper limits accepted for human health .

The current study aims to assess the level of sleep deprivation of the nurses in critical care units, reveal the consequences of sleep deprivation, and characterize the relationship between them with the demographic data of nurses. A descriptive design has been performed in the current study. It has been carried out in the critical care units of hospitals in the city of Najaf from October 20, 2021 to March 20, 2022. A Non-probability a technique of (purposive) samples of the (163) nurses in critical care units for night shifts has been selected. Measurement level of sleep deprivation through the sleep deprivation scale modified by expert committee, and the general health status was determined from the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) consisting of (28) items, and it includes four aspects: physical, social, depression, and anxiety. The results of the current study have shown that the level of sleep deprivation is moderate. The results also have revealed that the assessment of most domains (physical, social, and anxiety) was moderate, except for the domain of depression, which was good. There is a significant relationship between sleep deprivation and general health status. It has been concluded that the majority of the nurses showed a moderate level of sleep deprivation and most of them showed a moderate level of general health status.

Many women reach menopause without sufficient knowledge about expected problems and dealing with solving these problems. Therefore, proper knowledge is very imperative during this period toward menopausal symptoms .The aim of current study was to assess the level of women's knowledge regarding symptoms of menopause. A descriptive, cross-sectional study was carried out from the period 25th September 2016 to 18 August 2017. The sampling selected by non-probable (purposive) consisted of (150) women with age ranging from (45-60) years that women attending to primary health care PHC centers of AL-Najaf City, Iraq. An instrument prepared and developed in order to evaluate women's knowledge regarding symptoms that associated with menopause. The instrument consisted of three main parts, the first part contains socio-demographical data the second part consists of clinical data about reproductive health history and medical and surgical history. The third part contains questions about symptoms (15 items) to evaluate women's knowledge. The results showed that the most (42%) of participated women in the study with age (45-49) years. Married women were the majority (70%) of them. Majority of women (43.3%) enrolled in this study they were unable to read & write. The highest percentage (90.7%) for women was housewives. majority of women (81.3%) had menarche at age ≥12years. Furthermore, highest of them (96%) had regular menstrual cycle. Regarding the number of pregnancies, was (45.3%) of women pregnant for 8 times and more. As for contraceptive use was pills method get (51.35%) of percentage among other methods. Also the results shows vast majority of participants who had not medical history of Diabetes Mellitus, Heart disease and Hypertension (97.3%, 96.7% and 84% respectively). On the other hand, (94%) of them were free of gynecological surgery. According to the present results, the overall assessment of participant's knowledge regarding menopausal symptoms was fair (2.31). The current study was concluded that the women's knowledge was fair toward menopausal symptoms. Moreover, information of participants was superficial and slight about this period. The study recommends to conducting teaching programs about menopausal symptoms to enhancing knowledge. Also conducting periodically assessment and to conducted studies regarding women's knowledge and attitude about menopause.

Furthermore, abuse of students by teachers in schools is now a social problem locally and globally. Child abuse includes all types of (emotional psychological abuse, sexual abuse, neglect or negligent treatment or commercial or other exploitation), resulting in a real or possible hurt to the development of the child, wellbeing, dignity or survival in the framework of association with responsibility, power or trust. Methodology: A descriptive, cross-sectional study design was carried out, so as to attain the stated objectives, during the period from 8 th October 2017 to 13 th September 2018. study aimed to assess the level of teachers' perception and attitudes toward child abuse in Secondary schools, as well as, To find out the relationship between the level of teachers' perceptions and attitudes toward child abuse in secondary schools and their socio-demographic characteristics. Therefore, by using SPSS a simple random sample of thirty public and private secondary schools were selected, and then 400 secondary school teachers were selected randomly. Results: The result showed that 236 (59%) of participants had total high perceptions, 156 (39%) of participants had medium perceptions and only 8 (2%) of participant teachers had low perceptions. With regard to teachers' attitudes towards child abuse, the results showed that 362 (90.5%) of the teachers commonly had a positive attitude toward child abuse. Conclusions: The final conclusion and summary of the study showed satisfactory perception about child abuse in spite of teacher retaining a high perceptions about child abuse, thus the establishment of mandatory training sessions for teachers at the beginning of each academic year is intensely recommended. It is worth mentioning, the teachers' had positive attitudes towards child abuse, it can be improved through programs and educational sessions or at least through health bulletins.
