Since the inaugural FIFA World Cup in 1930, it has evolved into the most watched sporting event globally, facilitating cultural exchange, economic growth, and social unity. This chapter critically examines the multifaceted economic impacts of hosting the World Cup, including infrastructure enhancements, tourism boosts, and job creation, while also addressing significant challenges such as human rights violations and environmental degradation. Key milestones, such as Brazil's mid-20th century dominance and the introduction of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, illustrate the tournament's evolution. Furthermore, the World Cup serves as a platform for global peace and diplomacy, fostering mutual respect and understanding among nations. As it adapts to contemporary challenges, the tournament reflects the ongoing dynamics within the global football community.

This study aimed to explore the legal, technological and educative interventions that have been implemented to combat fake news in India. A qualitative research design was used to gather data from a variety of sources including published literature, government reports, and interviews with experts in the field. The findings of the study indicate that the Indian government has implemented a number of legal interventions to combat fake news, including the Information Technology Act 2000 (MINISTRY OF LAW, JUSTICE AND COMPANY AFFAIRS, 2000), which requires social media platforms to disable accounts and access to content that is deemed to be violative of Indian laws. The study also explored the various technological interventions, such as fact-checking tools, have been developed to help individuals identify and report fake news. The outcome of the study indicates that there is a need for more comprehensive educative interventions to raise awareness about fake news and how to identify it and that a multi-faceted approach, including legal, technological and educative interventions, is necessary to effectively combat fake news in India.

This study delves into the aspects of the film 'Animal', where the portrayal of violence and gore is evaluated for its impact on the audience mind-set and society. With the objective to analyse some critical aspects related to audience reactions, response to stimuli and societal implications of the portrayal of violence in this film, this study attempts to propose certain recommendations. A mixed method approach has been used in this study. Quantitative data was collected through survey method using snowball sampling technique and analysed. A qualitative analysis of the film's reviews, personal observation and focused group discussion was done. For the final outcome of the study the findings were triangulated. The study revealed that females were more in-disagreement to violent films made, released and watched by masses, such as 'Animal'. They were of the opinion that such films probably would have a very negative impact especially on the children, other than the society at large. On the other hand the male respondents showed their thrill, interest and liking towards these violent films as per the findings. Also the findings revealed that the male respondents had a mixed reaction in terms of favouring the making of these violent films. The study attempts to establish the complex relationships between entertainment, censorship and societal well-being, with an aim to put forth recommendations before the cinema industry stakeholders and policymakers.

For this purpose, the film 'Dunki' with star cast Shahrukh Khan, directed by Rajkumar Hirani was selected. The study has also taken into account the theory of social ontology and effect of stardom to form a premise as other factors involved in the total experience of film viewing. This study has incorporated a mixed method approach involving, quantitative analysis through survey questionnaire using snowball sampling technique, and qualitative analysis through observation method and content analysis. The findings of the study reveal that, in case of the success of the film 'Dunki', collective spectatorship did not play much role, rather it was the stardom and social ontological factors that contributed majorly to the success of the film. The outcome of the study suggests that collective spectatorship may not always be solely responsible towards the success of a film, rather at times, just like in case of the film 'Dunki', factors dependent on social ontology and stardom can play a lead role towards the success of a film.

In simple words, a solar e-rickshaw is a three-wheeler powered by solar energy, suitable for short distances (Mulhall et al., 2010). Solar-powered e-rickshaws can support the daily operations of the drivers, helping them overcome range restrictions and make more money as they can avoid charge-wait periods during work hours. These solar e-rickshaws are also clean, environment friendly, sustainable energy. This study aimed to identify the lack of knowledge due to communication gaps in spreading awareness regarding advantages of solar e-rickshaw, which has led to less usage of e-solar rickshaws that has the potential to enhance the performance and energy efficiency for achieving environmentally sustainable transportation. This study is with special reference to Gurugram city in India. The methodology used for this study is in-depth interviews using semi-structured questionnaire and purposive sampling. The outcome of the study indicates that measures are needed to communicate and educate the e-rickshaw drivers and owners on its solar version and its benefits, for the solar e-rickshaw to come to mass use and acceptance.

relevance of sustainable architecture is more pronounced than ever.
This chapter delves into the lost culture of Indian traditional sustainable
architecture, a heritage deeply rooted in the principles of sustainability,
harmony with nature, and the cultural diversity of the Indian
subcontinent. The built environment in India has a rich history, dating
back to ancient civilizations, and it has much to offer in terms of
sustainable living practices.
Indian traditional architectural designs were sustainable in many ways.
They used locally available natural materials like stone, mud, wood,
lime and thatch that were eco-friendly, cost-effective and climatically
suitable. They also employed techniques like water harvesting, passive cooling, natural ventilation and daylighting that reduced the energy
consumption and environmental impact of the buildings. They also
reflected the cultural identity and context of the communities that
inhabited them. Some contemporary architects are trying to revive and
reinterpret these traditional principles in their designs.
Through a comprehensive examination, we hope to reignite interest in
these traditional practices and inspire a resurgence in sustainable
architecture, not only in India but worldwide.

Edulji," who promoted Polson butter. Dr. Verghese Kurein, better
known as the "Milkman of India," is credited with transforming India
from a nation with a scarcity of milk into a leading producer of milk
today, with Amul playing a pivotal role in this achievement (Shastri,
2023).

Girl. We will explore the origins of Amul's advertising journey, tracing
it back to its modest beginnings, and then follow its evolution into a

There is a large population of Sikhs in Canada who reside in British

aid to community members in need.
Punjabi culture and tradition have had a significant impact on Canada,
particularly in British Columbia, where the first Punjabi Sikh settlers
arrived in 1902 to work in the forestry and agricultural sectors.
Vancouver became the primary cultural, social, and religious center of
Punjabi Canadians by 1923, and the Punjabi population in Canada
remained relatively stable throughout the mid-20th century due to
exclusionary immigration policies practiced by the Canadian
government. However, a shift began to occur after World War Two,
and the Punjabi population in Canada has been steadily increasing ever
since. Today, Canada is home to the largest Sikh population outside of
India, with approximately 800,000 Sikhs, forming 2.12% of the total
population.
