Technically turkeys don’t have hair 😂 so we could call these “feather cuts,” but that’s not as fun to say. SAVE THIS IDEA💡 Share it with a friend. WHAT YOU NEED: - Scissors - Colored construction paper (or cardstock- my personal favorite for kids learning to cut… bc it’s more sturdy for little hands to hold) - Glue - Eye ball stickers HOW TO MAKE THESE: You can make these ahead of time or have your kids help! - Cut out brown turkey bodies - Glue some colored paper to the backs to make their feathers - Stick on an orange triangle beak and sticker eye balls - Have kids make slits to make feathers (or you can do this) Now kids are ready to start cutting the turkey feathers! Give kids a tray to cut on top of to collect all the turkey feather snips. Then you can save them for a collage project! Not ready for cutting yet? No prob! Kids can rip the paper strips instead.
