My grandma taught me this many years ago. Refreshing towels I use this trick all the time since I noticed my towels smelling funky. It works! - Over time, towels build up detergent and fabric softener, leaving them unable to absorb as much water and smelly. Recharge them by washing them once with hot water and 1cup vinegar, then a 2nd time with hot water and half cup baking soda. This strips the residue and leaves them fresh and able to absorb more water again. Works like a charm! - sublime decor

Refill Your Swiffer Wet Jet; No Special Tools Required
Are you kidding me! I would give this a 5 - I did not think it would work, but it did. I've just been buying new ones (been trying to figure this out)....Dip the tip of an empty Swiffer Wetjet solution bottle into boiling water for about 10 seconds and the lid twists off (use a towel). Refill with your preferred cleaning solution at appropriate dilution! and re-cap. Genius. No need to pay for more fluid... way overpriced. genius
