You can clearly see which step of the writing process each student is at in an elementary classroom, and it fosters student responsibility from prewriting through publishing.  Each step comes in a full page or half page writing process poster or anchor chart, which is very helpful for introducing and teaching the writing process. Can be hung up on a writing process bulletin board or displayed in a writing center.
