70 reactions | I just love me a good transformation!!! This gorgeous vintage piece went from dark and drab to modern, light, and perfectly charming. The details add so much beauty and interest, and I absolutely adore the front turned legs! 😍

But this piece is really all about the details! The lovely trim, the dovetailed drawers, the original (working and functional!) casters, the bold drawer liner, and new glass oval knobs. It all comes together just so well, and is ready to make a statement in its new home!

The size makes this piece work as a buffet, entryway table, dresser, TV stand, or even a nursery changing table!

Carrie Anne | Furniture Flips & Home DIY Tips on Instagram: "I originally bought this set with the intention of turning the low dresser into a changing table and then selling the tall dresser and side table together, but once I got them home I couldn’t bear to split them up 😍 I’ve been wanting to try out this ✨gel stain technique✨ for a while and figured these pieces would be perfect to try it on, since only one of them was damaged. I love how the gel stain deepened the color, made them look more rich and covered all the minor blemishes. I did have to color match the veneer repairs on the tall dresser, but that was simple enough, and then all I needed to do was clean the hardware and condition the drawers. I’ll definitely be trying this again!
