A feeling of negative emotional state is the resultant manifestation of their intention to switchover. It is supposed in this context, the dissatisfying elements of the quality of services can lead to commuters' intention to switchover to alternative means of transport, with special reference to Mass Rapid Transport (MRT). By applying the relational cohesion theory, it is assumed in this research that social exchanges can result in greater emotions and can lead to cohesive relationships between the commuters and the MRT service provider. Standardized instruments were utilized to gain cross-sectional data concerning the model's factors: service quality, customer satisfaction, and switchover behavior. The theoretical models were assessed for the intensity of associations amongst the factors selected. Support was observed for the forecasted relationship between service quality and switchover intention. Customer satisfaction partially moderated the relationship between service quality and switchover intention. Based on the result, it is suggested that the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) agency should devote appropriate customer relationship training to the staff members, which can augment the commuter's satisfaction, and which can reduce the intention of switching over by creating a positive emotional experience. The study leaves theoretical and practical implications for effective interventions.

The National Family Health Survey 2015-16 report shows that the usage of feminine hygiene products among Indian women is 48.5% in rural India and 77.5% in urban India. In their 2016 survey conducted on adolescent girls in the rural parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, Nielson found that though 46% of the respondents had heard about feminine hygiene products, only 28% were using them regularly. Evidence suggests that there is a lack of resources, education, and awareness about personal hygiene in rural areas of the country, as well as personal inhibitions and social taboos associated with the purchase and use of hygiene products on the market. Hence, the need for the study was felt to understand the consumer behaviour of rural women towards feminine hygiene products. The independent variables measuring the behaviour are consumer awareness, attitude, and social influence, and the dependent variable is purchase intentions. The objective of the study is to understand the impact of consumers' awareness, attitudes, and social influence on the intentions to purchase hygiene products among women in rural areas, with reference to the villages in and around Coimbatore district. The data 4795 was collected from 170 rural women residing in the study area. The results shed light on factors influencing rural women's purchase decisions relating to feminine hygiene products.

The study followed a quantitative cross-sectional design to examine the relationship between the variables. A sample size of 1000 members from 20 automobile companies from Uttarakhand state was used. Substantiating the role of social exchange theory, the study results indicate that employee engagement and job satisfaction significantly contribute to job performance in the automobile sector. The moderating effect of psychological contract also reports partial mediation among employee engagement and job satisfaction on job performance. The research delivers valuable insight to managers and leaders about the significance of employee-engagement, job-satisfaction, and psychological contracts to ensure better job performance in the automobile manufacturing sectors.

Research Methodology: The data was collected from 127 employees in various departments of selected IT companies, using a structured questionnaire. The standard scales of measurements, namely, Organisation Career Management (OCM) and Utrecht's Work Engagement Scale (UWES) were used. The data was analysed with the help of the relevant statistical tools, including the descriptive statistics, correlation and multiple regressions. Findings: The study has revealed that encouraging career development prospects in the organisation significantly contributes to all the components of employee engagement more than the support provided by training initiatives alone. Limitation/ Future Research: The study was limited to the employees of IT companies located in the Dehradun region and the results need to be tested across other sectors and geographical locations. Originality/Value: The paper adds to the understanding and knowledge regarding the impact of employee training and career development on their engagement in the context of the IT sector.
