Full version in the works! Check it out here:

A short "clicker/idle/Incremental" game. No offline functionalities.

Usually, these types of games start with fast progress that slows down gradually. This one does the opposite.

Length: Can be finished in less than 40 minutes.

Made for 2 game jams: Clicker Jam Spring 2022, where the goal was to make an Incremental game in a single week; and Black and White Jam #8, with the restriction of 2 colors and the theme "loop".

Had to skip the latter jam in the end because the rules didn't allow for non-copyrighted stuff (I used public domain sounds).

Tools used: Construct 3 (game engine and graphics), Reaper (sound editing).

Sounds used:

- Second Tick

- Minute tock

- Hour tick

- Upgrade tock

- Heartbeat

nice game, but the "no inflation" upgrade is fairly useless when you get to it, and you can go past 60max if you take it before the +6limit.

i enjoyed it

Thank you! "No Inflation" is more useful if you skip many of the Unlocks before it. The ability to go beyond 60 was meant as a little easter egg but I didn't expect anyone to actually find/notice it.

Not the greatest result, but I had fun.

Cool, glad you liked it!

Any chance of making hour movement automatic, like with minutes?

its beyond frustrating to wait those precious seconds holding, then "moving the mouse wrong..."

Hm. I may have a different solution to that problem. I'll try to push another update in November. Thanks for your input!

Really fun and a lot of potential,  but once I got the hour 3 reward that gives a minute multiplier, I skipped all the way to the ending and didn't get a single other milestone. It might need some rebalencing.

Thank you for your input!

auto minutes is pretty big too (gets it under 14 minutes total)

spedrun20minutes sub23

That's fast! Cool.

pretty fun, good concept, wish there was more of it.

Thank you, glad you liked it! The Steam version will be longer.

A very short game. For being on Steam, I would rather see a full Idle game that would take at least a month to finish

(1 edit) (+1)

Thanks for the input! The Steam version will be longer, but hard to say how long it will be. It's not just a clicker game though, it has more stuff going on.

could you make save data?

Done. Thanks for the request!

wait you'll actually?

Yup! It's in today's build. Figured it's a good quality-of-life feature.

sweet

will it be in here by today or tomorrow

The hour hand moves in place of the minute hand. Great incremental though

Thank you! True, I wanted the hand sizes to make more sense than they do in real life (bigger time unit = bigger hand), but I get it's a bit weird.

Game not loading. No errors in console.

Firefox, Linux Mint.

Oh, damn! I don't have Linux experience, so I don't know if I can do anything about that.

Firefox has had weird problems with browser games lately. Did you try another browser?

Thanks for the report!

(+1)

Have no other browsers to test :(

Noticed a bug - minute multiplier activated when I unlocked upgrade max +6 and started out maxed at 7. Unlocking later upgrade maxes instantly increased the multiplier by 6 without me buying anything.

At high minute speed, the gradient effect on the minute hand doesn't disappear once a minute has been bought

Thank you for the report! I fixed that major bug with the Minute Multiplier, but was unable to reproduce that visual Minute Speed bug.

If it helps at all, this was being done on Firefox on Windows 10. Thank you for the response!

Okay, thanks! Firefox has given random problems with browser games recently, so it might be just that.

Like in my last game, certain sound effects wouldn't play on Firefox but were fine on other browsers. Other devs have reported similar weird issues only on Firefox.

Very odd little game, could use some guidance as a few things are less than obvious...

(1 edit)

Thanks! The game is meant to be mysterious, but there is a WTF button on the left side if you want further instructions.

How do I play on mobile?

(+1)

There's no mobile version. Sorry.

(+1)

Okay, now the browser version works on mobile, too. Only took 2½ years!

This was super fun. I wish more games had these mechanics

Thank you so much! :) Glad you liked it!

Thanks! :)

Too much clicking.

Fair Enough.

(+2)

Was fun

Thanks!

Nice little game.  Would maybe be slightly more fun if you could just click anywhere in the clock instead of having to keep your aim solid when clicking fast!

There's a thought. Thanks! :)

how 100 sec are 1 min?

Time isn't linear?

(+1)

This is a really nice game! I love the unique time theme, very creative! Though, some things like the sound effects being messed up and the speed upgrades seemingly doing nothing after about 10 purchases made it less enjoyable. But, not by much. I rate this game.... a 7.5/10.

Thank you very much! :)
