Happy Birthday Samah

I am teaching in the morning a sweet little lady on her 6th Birthday. I will teach both her and her older sister Maths for an hour each. This is the card I made for her using a digital image from Bugaboo. I used Copics for colouring and added a few gems, plus the dotty ribbon.

9 Year Old Harry Potter Fan

This card is made for a sweet little girl who I tutor on a Friday - she turns 9 tomorrow. She is an avid reader and is getting the set of Harry Potter books for her Birthday. I bought this set of digital images some while ago and therefore had to use a few on this card - the key trio of course!

Here is a closer look at the characters.
Thanks for stopping by.

Dragon Boy!

My Mum wanted a card for my nephew so this is what I came up with.  It uses sketch challenge sketch 406 and Sentimental Sundays challenge to use black, white and a colour.  The image is a digital one from Bugaboo stamps.  With a little paper piercing and plenty of red Welsh dragon colouring it was mainly done.

Thanks for looking - avoid the dragons today!

Another Degree Celebration

This card uses a Digital image from Bugaboo Stamps and is also going to Bath.  This one is for Gareth, Lauren's boyfriend who has also been studying with her.  I am entering this card is this week's Pan Pastels challenge which is to use a digi.

Well done to Gareth.

Sketch Frenzy Friday Easter Card

This card was made using the Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch of just over 2 weeks ago - the link is to their blog as you may want to participate in current challenges..  I couldn't upload it and post it before as I didn't want hubby to see it as it was his Easter card.  The image is a digital one from Bugaboo stamps (Daughter Skye's pencil drawings) and is a lovely rabbit in my opinion.

Hope you are having a lovely Easter Sunday - God bless.

CCC12 - Jugs 118 - Sentimental Sundays 84 - Catch the Bug

I have committed myself to 12 Christmas cards a month, perhaps I should be committed!
Here is the first for January.

It uses the Jugs 118 sketch, snow, blue and glitter with  a sentiment for the Sentimental Sundays challenge, a Bugaboo image for the Catch the Bug anything goes challenge and will be added to CCC12 for January as well.
It is coloured with Pencils for a change and has Waterfall Stickles on the die cut snowflakes.  The snowman has a little Star Dust Stickles too.  The sentiment, computer generated, is die cut with another Spellbinders die.

Elves in the Snow

Another version of the digital elves from Bugaboo stamps.  Coloured with Copic markers and mounted simply with just some polka dot organza ribbon as my decoration.

Double Trouble

This week's Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge refers to the verse about Jesus sharing our burdens - a verse that I need right now with Mum in hospital and going through some tough times.

The challenge is to use double of everything - well I think I have done it - 2 digital images, 2 coloured card stocks (don't count white!), 2 designer papers, 2 tags for sentiment, 2 stars and 2 markers used for each colour in the image.  I have coloured with ProMarkers and used stars so it is also for the Pro Markers challenge this week.  Because it contains two folds, a joy fold card, I am also entering it in the Sentimental Sundays challenge this week - Fancy Folds

The images are from Bugaboo.

Elves on the Steps

I found out about Bugaboo digital images when I did the digital class at My Creative Classroom and since then I have used them quite often.

I had forgotten about the Christmas steps and elf images and then came across them again so combined  them on these cards.  I mounted them simply as I did not want to detract from the main images.

Hope you like them.

Reddie the Robin

Not sure how many people remember Eddie the Eagle - a very average ski jumper we had in the UK but this is my version made with a digital image robin ski jumper!

The image is one of the Bugaboo winter birds and it is coloured with ProMarkers.  The sketch I have used is VLV October 2011 week 1 sketch and the border is made with Spellbinders edgeabilities. This card is also being entered for the Passion for ProMarkers Challenge 121 - Christmas Critters.

Have a good Friday and a great weekend.
