LDRS Creative –Ruby IS Pretty Cute!

Hello everyone! Hope you’re well!

I am posting on the LDRS CREATIVE INSPIRATION BLOG today with a card and a tutorial using one of the gorgeous new Polkadoodles stamps now available in the store.

This fabulous young lady with the ‘impossible’ legs is RUBY – PRETTY CUTE and I have coloured her with watercolour paints.

The cart on the gorgeous backing paper is supposed to be selling ice cream but I changed it into a flower cart instead.

I used 3D glue gel for dimension on the flowers and on RUBY too and you can see more photos of my process on the blog HERE.

March 5^th is Shrove Tuesday or Pancake Day as it’s informally known so the team are celebrating all things fried and syrupy….so to speak. 

Nikky has two gorgeous Sugarpops girlies in the store made especially for this day and there are sentiments too; find them HERE.  But I flew in the face of convention (something I NEVER do) and used the beautiful RUBY BIRTHDAY CAKE, giving her a nice big plate of yummy pancakes (cut from PANCAKE HEAVEN) to hold instead of her yummy cake. I could live with that swap!!

The team had a party theme to follow this week and I made a card using the super gorgeous RUBY CELEBRATIONS.  This is actually a project made for the launch of these ladies in April! And now there is a NEW collection of these gorgeous ladies and you can find them HERE.

My ‘firework’ background was created with Brusho’s and one of the stamps from the SUMMERTIME set embossed with gold glitter powder.  I distressed all the edges and mounted it on the starry paper that is a bonus when you purchase the cute LITTLE DUDE SUPERHERO B/W DIGI. 

So RUBY has her heels, a party frock and a balloon what more could a party girl need?!  Get her a glass of Prosecco someone!!

Polkadoodles New Release – Ruby Boho Chic!

Polkadoodles New Release – Ruby Dog Days!

Evening all!

Well I’ve just popped in again to share a card I made with the latest Polkadoodles release: RUBY….I keep singing that Kaiser Chiefs song “Ruby, Ruby, Ruby, Rubaay! Ahaa-ahaa-ahaa” Just be grateful that this blog does not come with sound!

Now there are 7 lovely ladies to choose from in this release but as a massive dog lover I chose to use RUBY DOG DAYS, look at her carrying her little doggie round the shops. Not that my dogs get carried ANYWHERE! That would lead to a trip to the back clinic no question. Unfortunately I lost my gorgeous black Labrador last month but I still have 2 pesky Staffies to cheer me up, or run amok depending on your view.  This little puppy is just so cute so I paid tribute to my Lab and coloured her black.

I’d lost my mojo somewhat (well with recent events that’s not surprising) but this new collection from Nikky has totally inspired me and I had to add a quirky element to this design.  Be rude not to!!
