In this paper, we consider an integrodifferential equation that comes from modelinġneuron networks. Here, we investigate various schemes for time discretization of a theta-neuron model. We use collocation and midpoint quadrature formula for space integration and then apply various time integration schemes to get a full discrete system. We present some computational results to demonstrate the schemes.

How should they use their budget of $12 million to meet the expected additional demand for compact and full-size cars? In Example 5, page 133, we will see how we can find the solution to this problem by solving a system of equations. T HE LINEAR EQUATIONS in two variables studied in Chapter 1 are readily extended to the case involving more than two variables. For example, a linear equation in three variables represents a plane in three-dimensional space. In this chapter, we see how some real-world problems can be formulated in terms of systems of linear equations, and we also develop two methods for solving these equations. In addition, we see how matrices (rectangular arrays of numbers) can be used to write systems of linear equations in compact form. We then go on to consider some real-life applications of matrices. Finally, we show how matrices can be used to describe the Leontief input-output model, an important tool used by economists. For his work in formulating this model, Wassily Leontief was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1973.

Techniques of factoring, using the law of exponents, and finding the LCD are required in these operations. These techniques were developed in this and the previous chapters. Their use with algebraic fractions should serve to develop ypur skolls in performing these important algebraic operations. We highlight the ne concepts and definitions.

We represent it graphically by a dot and denote it by a capital letter such as P • Lines A line i.e. a straight line, is a one dimensional geometric figure consisting of points extending infinitely far in both directions. We denote it by small letter such as . We also denote a line by giving two points that lie on the line, for example , as in the fig.

Measurement is an essential part of our everyday life. Everything that we purchase, create, design, and build, we need measurement. For instance, if you're ill, whether it's serious or not, you will need to take a specific amount of medicine. If you take too little or too much then you won't benefit from it properly, and hence measurement here is important. In this chapter, we will discuss Measurement, Unit of Measurement, International system of units, some measuring instruments and their uses.
