The mine game? Looks cool!

Thanks!

I made this game before at GMTK jam under 4 days, you can see that with the badge. The jam host didn't say anything specific so I think it's fine to resubmit my game

It was a cool game!

Nice graphics and really creative, However the hooks seem to make the car fly and a car with only wheels doesn't even climb very small hills. As others said, creating the car is more enjoyable than driving it. Thanks for making this!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I'll surely try to encourage the player to move and explore. Good to you too!

Really cool and nice game! Art is also awesome. Gameplay feels a bit buggy, maybe if the paper didn't have legs things would work better. And if there was a sign of where you can climb then it would be even better. Climbing the staircase didn't make sense to me, because there wasn't actually a wall.

Very cool game! Really liked the childish art style and sound effects. It felt really good to play with those shadows until you find just the right size and solution. The fact that platform's stroke of two shadows that have joined was realistic and nice looking. It was really creative and enjoyable overall! I have some suggestions you might have thought of:

  • Using some kind of nine slice or something similar to make the big shadows look better
  • Making the dream button look like beveled and outstanding instead of looking like a hole and input

The game was so cool, complete and problem-less that I couldn't find any bigger issues. Thanks for creating this great game!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing and giving feedback! Great that this made you happy. I'm sure any game is 5 / 5 in some point of view!

Thanks for feedback! Yeah I agree that it is really unbalanced even for a jam game. ut I kinda think the point that map gets bigger is related to the theme. I haven't played for that long, but I'm pretty sure the music does loop, I'll check it out, thanks for informing me! I'll try to improve it to make it a nice enjoyable game.

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Nice thing you pointed out there, the souls were added at the end, I didn't notice they heal too much until now. Indeed double fire rate zone and simple enemy AI made the game too easy and repetitive. To improve this, I'm planning to do one or more of these:

  • Add more enemies with more complex AI
  • Add more zones which will make progressing easier and possible (some are heavily needed)
  • Implement some sort of move to not die mechanic (not moving deals damage)
  • Time limited prizes for exploration and movement (Some sort of damage bonus, speed bonus, temp prize crates)
  • Your idea modified, Each situation or enemy  needs a specific power-up, so you need to move

Thanks again for playing the game and giving feedback! Things will improve in a post-jam version.

Cool game. Liked the art and concept. However I think there could be more sound, for example typing or photocopy sounds or ghost sound effects. I wnted to see all features but I wasn't sure when I was going to see skeletons. Some interaction would be also good, some mechanic to keep yourself a bit busy when waiting for money. Something like hovering on ghosts but funner. Overall, it was a really nice game! Nice job.

Edit: Now I saw you did this in 48 hours, impressive!

The idea and art are really great and well-executed, enjoyed it! It would be good if the camera was more zoomed out a bit more or there was more garbage. Also for future some kind of military mode (how to say that lol) with enemies would be fun. I really like the games where you start with some small fort/spaceship/car/machine and you upgrade it until it's massive, but haven't seen many of them. This one was really cool! Thanks for creating this!

Thanks for playing!

This was an  original idea I haven't seen something like. And it was executed pretty well. However pressing E to pick up scales seems a bit unneeded. UI was kind of annoying to me. Some of art was really cool but some of it looked not as well as the other ones. Grown fishes kill in one hit and buying new rooms isn't that benfitial, so I rather to stay in one room. I liked the death cutscene (or whatever name it has). I hope that I see more games from you

Cool idea, very nice style and art and great variety of enemies. Shooting those enemies and running from those bacteries duplicating every split second and other chaotic stuff was cool! The cheese powerups also were cool, But the fact that you could keep them and not die made the game a bit too easy I guess. The bullet powerup was cool but not visible in short range. Thank you for making this cool game. I hope I see more games made by you like this one!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! Stepping on double firerate doubles your firerate. Yeah I agree that I failed to make more enemies. The traps are a really good idea. I was also thinking of something like poisoned rooms. Thanks for playing!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! You did a really nice job surviving that much. I'll do my best to make the game more balanced and enjoyable in a post jam version. And yeah I'm also for new enemy types!

Thanks a lot for playing and giving feedback. I'll add some of those in a post-jam version.

Oh, so that's what's happening. To implement it faster I had to store the rooms as two arrays, so the map expands only to right and bottom. I'll surely fix that in a post-jam version. So again that is my fault in design!

A really nice game! Cool mechanics. Creative idea, good and enjoyable level design. I really liked the cyber / glitchy art style. Not much to say, because the game is great already. But maybe player shouldn't be able to get more bullets and hearts when they're at max. Also nice sound design. I hope to see more creative games like this from you!

Thanks for checking it out! My personal is wave 14.

Yeah it expands, but you don't need to be sorry. If there is bug happening, then that's my fault. Can you send a video please?

It was a simple nice game, I really liked the simple style and sound effects. However the controls kinda got on my nerves. I don't know why. I just make mistakes in pressing keys, I use  arrows to rotate, a and d to resize, maybe pressing buttons fast isn't my talent lol. I feel that first two levels were too easy, and last two levels were too hard, maybe if there was an average level I could better learn the controls. I tried a lot to pass the boss level, I haven't yet, I just miss one block and other blocks also go as fast as a SMG shooting bullets. I feel more speed would be a better difficulty modifier than gap between blocks.
Edit: I finally passed the boss level, it was easier for me when I adjusted the rotation and position first and then resized the block. The difficulty curve was really hurting enjoyment. And one wrong thing I was trying with I've known was trying to hold buttons, maybe a delayed movement would be good because pressing left and right accurately is hard in low time. (Or at least it was for me)

This is unbelivable. How did you make this in 96 hours?! Great physics, great art, funny signs, ultra level level design.  Making us use the mechanics wisely.I'm a huge fan of physics based games. And I hope you and other skilled game developers gain a lot of fame, money, and power to make the world a better place. Save us fro m ubisoft bugs, EA moneylust and other prolems in game industry.I can't say much. Everything is perfect. I can only say some funny tiny things, I didn't read the signs and the art was a bit sharp, dropping the ball would destroy everything. Please make less levels next time. This game is really cool and I don't want to play it forever because I can't resist to.

Thanks fpr your feedback! I believe a hard game is better than a easy one but Ifailed to add more challange and encourage the player to explore. I hope that new enemy types, upgrads, generated crate rooms, loots and... add some cooler aspects to the game. Thanks for your helpful feedback. I'll to improve it!

Thanks a lot for giving me feedback! I'lltry to get faster and implement more stuff and all things needed to make it fun. Thanks for the honest feedback. People here are really good and everyone is trying to help each other! New different weapons is a nice idea. Maybe you you loot them from enemies, buy them, craft them, gain them from zones, I'm thinking of prize crates. Thanks a lot for your helpful feedback!

This is a really relaxing game with a really nice art, however, I have some suggestions:

  1. Replacing isometric with top-down view
  2. Adding a new mechanic because spamming left click gets boring after some time.
  3. Adding new mechanics in new levels to avoid repetitive gameplay
  4. Using more tiles and none square canvas
  5. Choosing a better font

These are the only problems I can think of. Sorry if that soundes rude or aggressive. I hope I see more relaxing  and beatiful games like this from you with upgraded gameplay to make it perfect!

A reaĺly creative and well implemented game. I wish there was a sixth star for creativity. It's difficult and enjoyful at the same time, Simple and understandble mechanics, everything makes sense. The fact that you can learn all the mechanics in 1 min is really cool and mind blowing. I think that's because we already knew how to move windows, resize them, and we knew what would be scaling without the shift button. The gameplay is so bold and outstanding but art and music fit perfectly, Honestly, the first time I played this I thought the transparent bg is a bug. The game was creative, cool and simple. I call that a great game design! Thanks a lot for making this. Good luck, hope to see you in the first 20.

It's a really nice game! The camera scaling gives a nice cinematic and mysteriousc feeling. The pongy (I don't remember name of the more similar thing) style is really well done, honestly I'm not a fan of arcade retro art like that. the puzzles are well designed. The movement is also really pongy and cool, but sometimes annoying, of course it's one of the challenging aspects of the game. The little bad guy at the first level was really cool. Sound design was also nice and had a really retro arcade style that I enjoyed. And diffrent types of breakable bricks were also cool. The mechanics were cool and sample as the same time and I really love simplicity. I hope that I see more cool puzzle games like this from you.

Hmm, maybe some bug is happening, the map expands as you kill enemies.

Thanks for your feedback! You're right and everybody is saying that. It was going to be removed, but I busy doing other things. And the corner trick would also replace that  because ghosts move in a line. Everything except the character was my art. 8 bit art is really nice becase even someone like me can make average art! Thank you so much for playing!

Thanks a lot for your feedback! The good point about these kind of games is that you can expand it very creatively. I agree that the game becomes repetitive, the only thing that I didn't want to. But I'm sure adding enemies, zones, soul powers, upgrades, loots and items will make it a really cool game! And I't try to do that. Thanks again for playing and giving feedback!

Thanks a lot! I understand. There were many things that I wanted to implement and I'll surely improve it to bring some nice joy!

Thanks, that's a nice thing to hear when there are many missing stuff. I used free sound assets lol. It fits really good to the theme

I'm happy that you like that! Its done with some simple geometery and tilemap modification. Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your feedback! Yeah the firerate x 2 zone was a mistake without othee things that were going to be included like other zones and sould special powers. I'm thinking of giving some prize or bonus or any kind of positive feedback when you explore a new zone

Thanks for your feedback! I was looking for good challange and your idea to force them go to a zone is really nice! Maybe something like cats and creepers? I'll surely find a way to add that. Thanks again! I'll improve it and I hope you like it even more that time!

A really nice game. Fits the theme with a nice usefull mechanic,. I don't even know how you made that many balls and bumpers. It also keeps the hands active and has a nice skill based design. The UI is also nice and the first time I skipped to tutorial , but the UX was so good that I already knew what to do. The only problem was with the balancing both ways, an unlucky round may waste the time in a high round and you might lose easily, but you might also score millions with multipliers. But that did not ruin the game and that is why I scored this 5 outta 5. Good Job! My record was 24th round but I forgot to take a screenshot lol.
