Simple but well polished. I think the start button on the main menu opened up the options screen. It was a bit hard for me to hear the voice-over with the sound effects. The game worked well though and was a fun little package-throwing game!
Reminds me of I love Lucy chocolate factory. Great job
Very simple gameplay, but also really smooth. I really loved the environment and the style you choose! Great game!
It was fun trying to throw packages to correct positions. Sometimes boxes fell to out of reach, I wish I had longer arms :P
Fun game and the retro theme is cool.
It was a bit confusing at the start as I thought the green colour when you pick up a package flashes, I took that as the colour of where to throw it - but then realised the coloured dots.
Nicely implemented and presented - really enjoyed it :)
Thank you for your feedback on our game, glad to hear you enjoyed it! We apologise for the misdirection with the colour of the pickup highlight representing the colour of the packaging (though that may be a good implementation moving forward). We're glad to hear that you were still able to figure out it was the coloured dots.
That great you posted twice! Glad to know you enjoyed the theme.
So I did :) (deleted)
Love the Irony of the Theme - 5 stars!
It's great to know that you enjoyed the theme. We appreciate your support and hope you had a fantastic time playing!
Well polished submission, congrats! A couple of minor notes: it is somewhat hard to distinguish the color of package especially on a big boxes. Also side doors are tricky. Overall it's a good game.
Thank you for your feedback! Your notes regarding the colour of the package and the side doors being tricky are valuable for future improvements, we are in discussion at the moment about taking this project further after the jam.
The concept of the game is great and the art style spectacular, the art amazingly takes advantage of the quest graphical limitations and together with the voices, music, effects and story they achieve great immersion.
The grabbing and throwing mechanics were a little bit rough, I'm not sure if that's by design even though I can tell an amount of frustration is part of the experience and made it fun and challenging.
I did find a bug in the end level menu where I was trying to press next level or restart, and it left me in a black void, I had to exit the game and come back to level selection to play all the levels (I played it on Quest 2 btw). Also, you could make the box tape another color, on my first game I lost because I believed all packages were red.
Aside from those two things this is a great game and I enjoyed playing it.
Thank you for your feedback on our game! We apologise for the bug you encountered in the end level menu, but we're glad to hear that you were still able to make it through all the levels. The comments regarding the grabbing and throwing mechanics and the box tape colour are valuable, and we'll take them into consideration as we continue to refine the game. We are grateful for your support and for taking the time to provide feedback. We are actively discussing the feedback we receive to further improve the game after this jam is closed.
The art style of this game is super amazing. Sometimes gripping the packages was a little weird and might also be why throwing them was weird at times but nothing too annoying. The package robots definitely add for a fun challenge!
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the art style of the game. We'll take note of the gripping and throwing mechanics as we are chatting at the moment about taking this further after this jam is closed for a smoother experience. The package robots are indeed meant to provide a fun challenge. We appreciate your feedback and support!
I like the Minecraft-esqe destruction and delivery particles
We appreciate your feedback and am glad to hear you liked the particle effects! I would like to point out it was Aisjam who came up with the art style and particles.
