Very nice entry, I won't lie, it was one of the scariest I played so far haha
I had an issue with the mouse sensitivity, for some reason the setting won't apply until I restart the game, and the default sensitivity was too high for me ahah
Anyway, that was one of the best entry I played in the horror theme, congratulation

A very atmospheric horror game that kept me in suspense the whole time! Time drags very slowly in this game, and I was just praying for it to be over soon - and that's what I love about this game.
My issues with this game: hotspots when interacting (but honestly, sometimes I was scared to death when I was trying to do an action and missed a hotspot or pressed too many times, I loved my emotions in those moments xD); the little path near the house with the power unit has a weird collider, and to get there I walked through the grass to a point where that collider is normal. And the world should be more intense, in the first playthrough I was just walking around the mountains with my clown friend :D
Overall, I like the idea of the game, the locations, the sound design and the atmosphere! Passed it on 3 endings and love the emotions I got in this game:)

Yeah, there were a number of rough patches in the game. Had we the time, I definitely would have gone over some of them to clean them up. Of specific note, lol, I forgot to “kill” the player if they wandered too far from the motel. Glad the clown was able to keep you company while you explored the very roughly sculpted in mountain side!

Scared the crap out of my daughter, so good job! It would be nice to know what time it was so I knew how long I had to keep things running, and the hotspots on the items were a bit tricky at times. Great job though!

As far as time… there’s a clock on the wall behind the reception desk in the office. It displays the in-game time. When that strikes 6, your shift is over, for better or worse. That said, I can totally understand the clock can be easily overlooked. It did pop into my head at one point that I should put the clock in every room, and I did intend to do that, but then the idea flew out of my head with all of the other systems I was trying to get finished.
I agree with the hotspot issue. One of those short on time, issues, I’m sad to say.

Really love the game :) I loved the atmosphere and the clown doll for sure. I had some issues with the sensitivity not saving so just a tiny movement with my mouse spun me around xD Great job though getting all this out in just a week!

Lmao I played this game like a dumbass. Literal first thing I did wasp pickup the clown and flashlight and just walked around with him for a while before the spooky music started playing and I died. Read the note eventually but didn’t pay attention and well I ended up dying after being scared of circus music for a few minutes.
Nice little game for a week jam, the area felt a bit empty and barren, maybe some rocks on the floor, bins, trees etc to make the area feel more full and closed in would help make you feel trapped and make it scarier. Would also reccommend adding a bit more feel to the player controller for a game like this such as slowing it down a wee bit and adding some headbob. Would be a cool feel.

I really enjoyed the visual presentation and the atmosphere. It unnerved me quite a bit the way it unraveled the first time, where I had the clown in hand, reading about how I shouldn't put the clown in my hand, and then read about the circus music as it started. Unfortunately I was unable to progress much further other than turning on a few lights and pushing the buttons on the AC (which seemed like I need to turn on another power source?) After a few game overs I wasn't sure what else to try. All in all, neat entry and vibes but I felt a little unguided in how to accomplish the tasks without getting the game over.
Thank you very much for giving our game a play! I agree the game play portion is a little light. mostly just a matter of keeping the lights on while making sure the clown stays put. Obviously there was more intended, but… Regardless, I’m glad the setting was unnerving, if nothing else impressed :)
