- This brings me back to old text-based games and I really liked your interpretation of the shadow theme. Simple and clever and nostalgic. Would love to see this fleshed out more.

It is a simple and small text adventure about processed computer, random guy and Alchemist. Ideally while the game happens really mundane text and UI slowly turn into magical environment.
Joseph bought Abulafia just as a hipster decoration. In reality Abulafia is a computer that is possessed by a famous alchemist. Being possessed gave Abulafia a soul and stopped being just another Olivetti computer.
Joseph becomes possessed by the computer. Player actually plays as that famous alchemist controlling the computer that controls Joseph.
Through the game the player realizes that they control several entities instead of one.
Realization comes through minor changes to the UI that are non intrusive. This is not implemented at the moment.
The only implemented game mechanic is fading of the text while player progresses.
I don't have any illusions that this is steam ready. I just wanted to create playable and repayable game entry that works and has all the parts and fulfills all the formal criteria.
Extra Notes
I spent one week to make this, I was sick the other one)

This was a very interesting take on the shadows theme, I like the creativity. While I didn't understand the storyline, I think the concept has a lot of potential!
Thank you for kind words and playing!
Very creative to make a text game for the jam. The music was a nice addition, as it added mood without being distracting. Good choice. I had a little trouble progressing but I think that was my own fault, I've never played a game like this before. I'm sorry to hear you got sick, I hope you're feeling better now!
Game is were raw and not really supper friendly at the moment, so don't blame yourself. Thank you for playing!
Interesting game and well executed.
Thank you for taking time to play!
Really cool concept with the text-based game! And nicely executed
Thank you for playing!
Very interesting seeing a text-based game in the game jam! Something unique you dont always see :)
Had to pull up google translate a bit here and there but impressed with the implementation!
Thank you for playing! Yes other languages are intentional mechanic to make players question what's happening!
Simple but very neat game! I quite liked the puzzles you have implemented so far. I'd love to see you continue developing this game once the jam is over!
Thank you for playing! I will definitely continue development of this game after the jam.
Enjoyed the use of symbols on items to guide the player. Made it so you had to balance examining your items and maybe taking risks if you wanted to explore more options.
Thank you, that was the intention. I'm glad that it conveyed it self this way.
Did not expect this use of shadow in a text based game, pretty cool game
Thank you! I too didn't expect this game. I started with completely different concept)
I like the audio and the idea! the story behind it seems cool and I would love to see it as a full game.
I did find that sometimes things are spelled differently making it hard to navigate myself, since I need to type precise commands.
Thank you for feedback and playing the game! Next time I will be using something more sophisticated for parsing commands.
