I wanted to thank everyone for all the feedback and based on the majority of comments I made a few little tweaks to tone down the difficulty, adjusting some speed, adding a 10% delay to the shadow, and removing the hitbox from the wrist down.

Cute, fun and very challenging. Would of liked to see more fore warning and time to move out of the way, however I think that really does make you want to try harder. I found myself being stubborn and trying over and over again :D I think this is a solid submission that needs just a small tweak for my liking.. maybe a difficulty menu could cater for different skill levels :) Overall very good job! I liked this one

It's really fun😂 it was really hard but after playing for a bit it got a lot easier. I like the concept of stealing the food, it's really creative.
i really love the art style. the game is a little too hard for my taste tho
also i feel like the hands shouldnt be able to kill once they are on the ground, like they should be able to kill you if you are right under them but once they finish slapping they should become obstacle .
other than the fact that the game is hard i like it.
I managed to get the first fruit, but man this is infuriating lol. It feels very unfair sometimes, the random generation can create gaps spanning the entire screen, and occasionally the hands just go nuclear. I also feel like the hit detection was a little weird, and sometimes I got hit when I felt like I shouldn't have, or vice versa. The slippery physics and the inability to see where you are also contributed to this.
Otherwise pretty cool idea.

I would suggest adding an indication of where the ant is when it's behind something

I really liked the art style. And the change of the background from the grass to the picnic blanket helped break up the game a little and give a goal to reach.
I loved it! It's challenging but really fun, I spent quite a few minutes playing. The soundtrack just fits it so well, it's bright and keeps you playing without raging.
5/5, would classify it as a psychological horror because of the... the HANDS...

Nice game. But for some reason. The if you touch the hands after they appear. You die. Other then that nice game.

Really amazing game and real fun
The music is cheerful and fits the theme, which is good.
The difficulty level was just right for me.
However, I felt that the fact that you are still hit for a while after your hand hits the ground is a little out of sync with the gameplay. Having to pay attention not only to the moment of impact, but also afterwards, felt a little less exhilarating.
Interesting gameplay, I like it! As already mentioned, it would look great as a mobile game, fast, dynamic and interesting. The only thing that really scared me was the sound of handclaps, hahaha
This game is a lot of fun! Its a hard game that I would usually quit on but something had me keep playing! I would add a joystick and make it a mobile game honestly it seems like a full game!

Thanks! There's actually only one animation in the game, and that's the ant's walk cycle.
