I love the idea of this game. The gameplay is confusing at first learning all of the controls but once you learn I was able to go threw each level more easily, overall this is a really fun game and I hope to see more in the future.
Congratulations on the submission. I don’t know why I had a hard time getting through the tutorial, specifically the wall jumping. I think they need to be 1 to 4 pixels over so that we automatically hit the next wall.
For the jam you were able to put in a lot of features and that is awesome!
I felt the controls were a bit difficult for precision platformer, I couldn't make it past the wind part in the first level but the music is great and I liked the intention and the concept of the game.
Thank you for playing! We tried to offer as much controls as possible, also what made you think that this was a precision platform? I would love to hear you reason's :)
The way that certain parts of game require multiple attempts to progress seems inspired by the genre. Thats what I took from it.
Loved the game, especially the dash mechanic, the movement is a bit slow which takes away from the gameplay but overall great game
Thank you for playing! I definitely do agree that movement can be slow at some times however we ultimately made this choice as going any faster we found the game was super hard to predict where you were going.
Fantastic game! Really cool art style and use of platformer mechanics
Also, I think I've encountered bug when playing last level..
Here's video where I tried to recreate this bug, if you interested (succeeded in bug recreation around at 2:12)
Thank you for playing! That is a strange bug... I couldnt hear any audio but I would assume the death sound would also be playing constantly, I personally think whats going on here is that the water is loaded but isnt unloaded as the water is only able to be loaded/unloaded when your in the next room. Thanks for sharing this bug its always fun to find bug and think about whats going on the behind the scene!
Yes, I turned off audio because of death sound and background music mixed into ear bleeding something. As for the reason behind this bug, I had similar thoughts.. anyway, the game was fun and that's what matters 👍
Perfect job! I really liked the graphics, they are very unique. Interesting gameplay!
Thank you! All the assets were done by Hunter-Of-Artemis!
I had to watch the play through a little, I didn't quite get some of the nuance of the controls initially (holding jump and using the dash), A little frustrating when you fall but in a fun way. Well done
Thank you for playing!
I like the zoom out feature. I used it a lot to plan my next jumps. One thing I noticed is that if you dash off a platform you cannot double jump. You have to jump then dash and then jump again. Good job on this one!
Thank you playing! There is a tad bit of coyote time in this game while jumping off the platform however i never thought about the player dashing off and then trying to perform a double jump, definitely something to consider next time!
Lot of work in your game! Interesting gameplay !
congrats!
Thank you so much playing!
Perhaps a bit too difficult, but nicely executed! I like the idea of playing with zoom in/zoom out to add to a challenge. I find it amusing that zooming out seems to put a pause but only on the player movement. :D
Thank you for playing! A lot of people felt the game was challenging which totally fair a lot of my inspiration for the platforming was taken from harder games but I probably could have made the difficulty curve easier for players! It was a debate between should it pause you or the whole word and we ultimately choose only you as an option as we felt like if we did it like that you still had power but not enough to control the movement of the world. Thanks again for playing!
Nice submission! I thought the map mechanic was really helpful and well implemented. It feels quite difficult though, felt like there were lots of tough jumps to make. I think games like these feel extra fun when there is sometimes just the illusion of difficulty, so it makes players feel like they're really good even though their just beating some easy section. Great work for the jam, keep it up!
Hey! Thank you for playing and your very nice comment!
