Did you work in a team?
I did most of the simple sprites and all the coding, but my friend helped me with a couple of the better looking sprites.

Was the resolution a challenge?
Adding low-res text didn't look great, and I was planning on making an rpg, so that was a problem. In the end, I decided on turning the project in a completely new direction, so that resolved itself. The game I have now doesn't use any text.

What did you learn?
I learned that an easy way to fix janky physics is to re-code them yourself. This game originally used Unity's physics, but they didn't feel quite right, so I replaced the physics with a couple scripts.

I could see remaking Pong as a good exercise towards improving programming skills. I think I was looking for something that's a little more ambitious in terms of new gameplay ideas.

The controls feel a little soupy as well. The pong paddle continues to glide after I stop holding down the button to move it.

I would work on getting this thing to control very crisply
