How does your game fit the theme?
The main character in this game switched from the good side to the bad side (becoming a villain). The player can also switch their roles between "hunter" (hunting everyone) and "prey" (being hunted by everyone).

I think the art and story are the highlights of the game for me, I really liked the backstory leading up to the gameplay and thought it introduced the idea well. The gameplay was way too difficult for me though unfortunately, I found that I would lose about half of my health in a couple of seconds if I happened to make a poor jump or run into an enemy. I think there should be some way to regain lost health, for instance, slimes could drop hearts and other items, so you can be rewarded for fighting, even without the hunter ability. A checkpoint system could also be a big help in balancing out the difficulty. Overall, I think the presentation here is strong, but the game itself is too challenging, with some improvements though I can see this being very fun while still maintaining a high level of difficulty!
The art was fantastic! It was a bit laggy for me but that's probably just my computer. The concept of switching roles was interesting
Great art, I'm a sucker for good pixel art (If my own game didn't give that away) and excellent music. Start back at the begging every time is a bit of a pain but over all a good, fun game but maybe shorten the intro a bit on a Jam game, ;)
I put mine in the description
i liked the kinda different mechanics, although a checkpoint would do great!
fun to play and interesting platformer.
Nice game! had fun playing it.
I just had a problem with the resolution, besides it, no game breaking bugs!
quite difficult to play for me, especially jumping but great concept!
I love the idea of changing role by items! nicely done :)
Nice one! I always love me this type of games. Graphics and controls definitely made it a more polished game. The only thing I don't fully like is the jumps, I can't really get a hold of it (prolly cuz I suck lol)
Great visuals and nice controls!
The screen resolution was a bit too big for my lapto though, being able to fullscreen would have been nice ;)
You can play the web version and zoom out the page. I'll add fullscreen mode when the jam is done. Thanks for playing!
The concept is interesting and the story was a nice touch. If you do come back to this you might want to allow for a larger buffer area for the player before scrolling the screen, it became a bit difficult to see when going left and right quickly. Otherwise great job!
Man, this is hard. To be honest, I can't beat the game. The jump is cool, but it takes too long to reliably dodge the slimes. I think you could make the spikes a little clearer.
The level difficulty was my fault. I can't even beat the game myself 💀
switching between attacking/running could be interesting, but it was a little too difficult for me to get through, even with the 'alt' mode trick. Jumping was also kinda tricky to do in a pinch when slimes are trying to attack you.
The jump mechanic was fun! Was a bit hard to control though. I couldn't make it through the level, even with the hunter "cheat" :D
The level difficulty was my fault. I can't even beat the game 💀
I absolutely know that feeling. Took me 20 minutes to beat our last level after the jam finished. Turns out developing & polishing a game while doing great level design is a big task for 48 hours :P
addicting, 10/10 from me
Interesting idea and story, I like it! Maybe some more arts would be a good idea for this game, but its still so good. Great job, dudes! :D
Very arcadey, very fun.
As a fellow slime game enjoyer, I can see the potential of this game:)
Love the Game ... and the art ...
Nice art and mechanic. I didn't quite understand exactly what switching between prey and predator does. Also, it's a bit too dark to see sometimes
