I liked this take on sokoban, very fun! I think the levels need to ramp up slower, especially for a game jam where is often better to lean a bit easier. But besides that, very solid.
Thanks for playing and feedback!
And yeah unfortunately I am aware of the difficulty issue. This was my first GMTK and I think I was too busy making some stumper levels using these mechanics, I forgot to properly tutorialise and adjust the difficulty curve. I will try to fix those issues after the rating period tho.
Solid concept, a little too challenging for me though, I couldn't get past 1.3 haha.
Thanks! And yeah I probably should have put 1.3 later
I love me some sokoban and this is an ingenious concept but I'll be honest I did not get very far in this game. I was stumped real early on. You must be a real big brain hero!
I've been slowly chipping away and reached chapter 2, so I gave you an extra point because it got even more interesting. This is a clever concept and worth the time to figure out but as I said, big brain puzzles are taking me a while to work through.
Thanks for playing and feedback! (about big braing thing, I just happened to have 40 hours to get used to mechanics, thanks tho)
Finally made it to the end! This is the only game of the jam so far that I've gone back to, sticking it out to the end. Great entry.
Congratulations! And thanks for the patience and playing it till the end.
Respect for coming up with these puzzle ideas.
Thanks!
absolutely brilliant! ive never seen a sokoban-like with a mechanic like this, great work! im not gonna dock you on presentation as im aware this is a puzzlescript game and the visual language is fairly intuitive so 15/15, no notes this was great!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice entry, simple but efficient, feels very smooth and I love when people use lesser known frameworks to make their games in. The difficulty does ramp up very fast, but that is a balancing issue that holds true for most game jams. Very impressive, well done !
Thanks for playing and the feedback!
This could be the hardest game in the jam, and that's including mine, will have to come back to it later... can't let the game beat me! Stellar game btw I really like it!
Thank you!
It's really cool! Love the idea. It's challenging some times but I like that.
Thanks!
Neat concept! While I found the mechanics to be a bit confusing, it felt awesome to finally solve whichever puzzle I was stuck on. Great work!
Thanks for playing and feedback!
I thought mechanics would be intuitive in terms of "roles" of these objects, but it may just be my developer bias.
How come every PuzzleScript game I've played always has very good level design? I love the gimmick and the "heaviness" mechanic too. I still have a couple of levels to finish off but I love it when puzzle games get straight into the meat of a concept. Well done!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Love the minimal look cuz it quickly communicates what the environment has. Also I noticed that you have made a saving system, which is a really good feature we usually skip. Overall I really liked the simplicity and the how it directly shows the role reversal!
Thank you! Saving system is Puzzlescript's feature btw
I had quite some fun playing your game :D Maybe some background music would have been nice.
Thanks for the feedback! afaik there isn't any way to add music in PuzzleScript Plus, but I will add some music if I change the engine I am using.
Ah okay
I have not seen these games as of late and its refreshing to play them again!
Its a fun twist with the ball, literally switching roles ;)
Good job!
Thank you!
Great puzzle game! Looks simple but some of the levels can be quite difficult to solve.
Thanks!
Simple presentation, complex interactions. Pressing Z to Undo reminded me of Baba Is You.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Love the 1 bit style~ a little too tricky for me >w<
Thanks!
This was too hard for me but i will definitely be coming back to it. I really like the concept and it could definitely be made into a longer game. Overall, great job!
Thank you!
my brain is too small for this game T-T but it is still a very cool concept! I think for the time now adding some instructions in the description of the game would be nice!
Thanks for the feedback!
I tried to give instructions in the game, but sure I will try to make it more clear in the description.
hahah yeah I saw your "PLEASE READ THIS" note. It's just nice to always have notes that you can look back on tho ;P
Alright, done it! I hope it is clearer now
Strange game. the difficulty is a bit extreme though.
Yeah difficulty is the main issue here. But thanks for playing and feedback anyway!
interesting concept. as other people said, it could defintely use a better difficulty curve in order to introduce people into the game.
Thanks for playing and feedback!
