Love the atmosphere!
Wow! Nice game! 😄
I really liked the aesthetic! Very nice shader!
The controls were a bit clunky (on one browser, the mouse sensitivity was so low, I had to go across my mousepad five times to turn around, on the other, the smallest mouse movement caused me to flail around randomly), but I suspect that is an engine problem, not a game problem!
It was really well put together! Great job! 😁
Its magic how smooth the experience is on browser.. AND SCARY!! 😱
wow this is a cool atmospheric game kinda amazing though
Really cool style and atmosphere but I think the flickering felt a bit overkill. Probably an issue with the web version but it wasn't immediately clear what I was supposed to be doing when the creature came with the UI text being in the corner. i think the character controller could have benefited from a few tweaks as it felt like i was in quake or something and walking way too fast to navigate through the map. outside of that, great work!
I like the style, old school.
Great atmosphere, I really liked the buildup to the monster release, it was super creepy!
The audio definitely helped build up the tension a ton, I could tell I was getting closer to the climax of the game once I started opening more doors. Unfortunately I feel like after that initial scare it really didn't go anywhere, I happened to run into the monster in the dark so when the lights turned on I was already in combat and killed it pretty easily, basically eliminating the threat from the game. I found the most enjoyable part was getting to explore the ship at will and finding the control panels, the tension deescalated too quickly for me to say that I enjoyed the horror elements at the climax. I really did enjoy this game's presentation, but my personal experience left me wanting a more complete horror experience, although what you did make during the jam period is very impressive. Overall, well done!
The music and artsyle are gorgeous! Are you supposed to feel safe and chase the creature? Because I sure was not!
I didn't really understand how you implemented the theme - 1on1 vs alien and once I killed it all was over...
But man the music and the atmosphere was thick and thrilling great job! better than some games I played and payed for!

My heart is still pounding! My headphones are busted, and I can STILL hear all of the audio cues that build up the tension! The stylized visuals were amazing; and I loved the combat. It didn't FEEL like a game in the sense that things are distributed perfectly; it felt like I was scavenging on a ship. Well done!

Goddamn it, I hate thriller games like this! But it was thrilling, and I loved it! It reminded me of the SciFi shows I used to watch as a teenager. That's a nostalgia trip that I don't often experience in a game. Ohh geez, I hope you expand on this game!
[ + + + + +] :: CREATIVITY
It's a trope that's been done before; unknown alien presence on board an abandoned ship in space? Yeah.. but.. it's a trope for a reason; and you get points for implementing it so thoroughly well.

Loved the post-processing effects, loved the enemy, and loved the combat! You did this in 48 hours? God I'm jealous.
wow really nice experience, maybe having more than once creature to kill (too easy to kill also) could be better, because once i killed it there was no challenge
Interesting idea to have the role switch like that (reminds me of that one DKC level, you know the one), its a good twist on a well established formula. And as an unexpected side effect it made me feel like I was kind of the bad guy, or at lest that there were no good guys
The atmosphere is amazing and the art style is perfect, it really pulls you in and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The flashing lights and the music makes it very spooky. I had a few issues with the mouse at first but it wasn't a problem afterwards.
Spectacular. My only complaint is that I was in a room with the creature when the warning triggered so it was stuck walking on my face (a bit of an immersion breaker) and for the creature having a health-bar I couldn't seem to shoot it.
Spectacular entry! Maybe a bit of environmental storytelling/context for each ammo stash? (like a broken cabinet or a corpse)
Incredible entry, please work on it more!
Absolutely terrifying, really reminded me of old PS1 horror games with the vibe. I actually got a bit too spooked to keep playing 🙈
Yo love the shader you guys used!
Well this is definitively one of the most impressive looking and stylish games I've played this jam! It actually feels like a full commercial game. Very impressive! I loved the feeling trying to creep through the ship while avoiding the creature. Audio was great too.
I guess I am slightly confused when it comes to the theme. So the only reason I knew to go after the monster was because I reread your description after a couple rounds and went hunting for it. Before that I kept getting all 4 locks and then it would trigger its rage mode and hunt me down even in the escape pod room, though I guess that's not the way to play it? I did eventually hunt and kill it... then it was just a stroll through the park while I unlocked the other doors! But ya when it comes to the theme for the jam, I'm not sure it's the strongest... since you kill the monster... and then it doesn't hunt you then!
The above is a really minor point. Honestly this game was super impressive and an amazing example of greatness that could be achieved in 48 hours. Excellent job done by your team!!
Also was the piano music at the very end made by Budgeri or could I find that somewhere else? It was quite relaxing to listen to at the end!
Thanks heaps for playing the game and for the feedback. also, yes, Budgeri made all the music in the game, including the piano music at the end.
Thanks for all the feedback on the game, super helpful to have these suggestions, although it's really interesting to see how many were things that we wish we could have added. Yeah I did the music at the end too but now I'm planning to make a youtube channel to post the soundtrack to. When I do that I'll probably put a link on the itch page for the game.
Sorry for the wait, I've put up the links on the page now and I'll put my channel here.
The graphics is amazing, but I think the game is simple, I kill the creature with 54% health left, Perhaps it would be a good idea to increase the enemies' attack power a bit.
It's good enough for 48H, well done!! I really enjoy it!!!
The sense of claustrophobia and atmosphere you've managed to instill here is fantastic! I love how well this fits the theme, where rather than starting as "the hunter" or "the prey", you actually turn the tables in realtime. The graphical style, shaders, and soundscape you guys were able to create during a short jam is very impressive and you should be very happy with how this turned out! Great job.
