Really great experience! I made it to level 3 but the all room is dark, I'm not sure if thats supposed to happen. But it's fine, I love the art and models, well done!
You accomplished a lot with very little, which is great! What I mean is the art style is so simple, yet brings a relatively high level of polish. The alien freaked me out! I'm glad it didn't jump out at me suddenly. I legit turned my volume down expecting a jump scare! Despite the lighting being too dark, the core gameplay idea is interesting and has lots of further potential with how you can "synergize" elements. Great work!
The concept is a very unique take on the theme the lights do hinder it especially on the generator level, the 3D assets were pretty neat and the music is creepy and eerie which fits the game well, overlooking the bugs the game has great potential
An interesting concept to follow and some really nice visuals to go along with it. Though it's unfortunate that there's such a problem seeing those visuals. I'll definitely be looking back to see if there's any sort of post jam patch!!!
A few specifics on the gameplay tho:
Otherwise I'd say it's pretty good, maybe a bit faster movement or some sort of tweaking to make it have a bit more oomph just for some juice.
This was a real good time. Definitely a unique take on the theme as far as I've seen so far in all my ratings, and the setting and FPS/Puzzler genre gave me some Portal-esque vibes in a good way. Will move past the bugs cuz this is a jam and its bound to happen, and the rest of the game was good enough that once they were navigated around they didn't occur to me again.
For a 48 hour jam this is a very ambitious project and I'm seriously impressed at the visuals, music, and gameplay all being crafted within this time. You all did a great job and made a challenging and quite unique end product. Good job!
Really cool idea! I like the mechanic and concept! It is also refreshing having a 3d first person game in this jam! The game did seem confusing as far as to what I should do, so I think having a tutorial or more explanation in game would definitely be beneficial. I was pretty lost on what to do for a bit and kept shooting things with no success until I saw the gif on the itch page lol. The lighting has already been mentioned, but I think the post-processing on the switches could probably be tuned down just a tiny bit, but that is just personal preference. Great artwork! Overall, great job and I hope you keep working on this game!
It’s a really ambitious game, and it plays like an alien fever dream. It was really hard getting past the super dark parts, and a lot of the time it was really unclear to me what I was supposed to do so I just sort of wandered around aimlessly.
I’m not sure what improvements to suggest. I’d say the user experience needs to be streamlined and clarified, but that’s partly what creates this inscrutable and alien atmosphere where the player feels constantly lost, kind of like some retro games from the 80s or 90s. I guess it comes down to what the game is intended to be about.
I liked it, though, as I haven’t seen other games like this in the jam so far.
Really cool 3D first person shooter, first one I played in this jam. I really like the art style, really clean. The slime enemy was also pretty creepy, haha. It was a bit unclear at first which objects I could connect, but the gifs on the webpage give some good hints. Maybe increasing the range of the gun would also make it a bit easier to use. Really impressive for a 48 hours jam, good job guys!
Really cool concept! The lighting makes it pretty tricky to move forward after it goes dark, but the first two levels were an absolute pleasure. Great job on the art. I was surprised to see you made it all in the 48 hours. I thought for sure they were an asset when I was playing, they're high quality enough. Great job!
Thank you for submitting such an awesome game XD. The music was extremely creepily catchy. The mechanics were amazing to play around with. I look forward to seeing you in the next stream I happened to come across :]
It was interesting, unusual, and fun to get started.
really cool game, but its really held back because of how dark everything is. in some rooms i found myself literally stumbling around pressing buttons until something happened. the room where you get told to climb for example, it took me ages to figure out what i was supposed to be climbing on. it might be a visual bug because the screen shots dont show the game ever being this dark but at least for me it was borderline pitch black at times. really cool idea though, and looked really nice when the lights were on. Good Job!
Cool game! I’m impressed by how much you’ve done in 48 hours, and in 3D. I’d love to see this as a full game post-jam.
unique idea to make an fps. I love how the connector gun thingy doesn't just connect electrical currents but also can be used for other element
WHAT?! You made all this in 48 hours?! I'm so impressed! Very interesting interpretation of the theme, great graphics and art, very clever! Great job all around!
Really interesting concept! Level 3 was quite hard with this room in the dark! L iced this idea of connecting things to solve problem 😁
This is a really cool game! The idea of the puzzles was great and a good use of the theme, and I enjoyed solving the first two puzzles! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get through level three, hopefully I can get through it post-jam if you update! Overall, I enjoyed the game and it was super impressive for a jam. Good job!
Really amazing game! Its so awesome that you managed to make a fully 3D FPS puzzle game. Great work! One issue is the fire effect, it makes the game lag pretty hard on the webGL version. Other than that (and the known issues) this is a really great game!
Really nice game! I think the clarity and lighting issues would make the puzzles a lot nicer. Anyways, the fact that you guys made so many assets and effects in such a short time is really astounding. I'm always surprised when I see a 3D game with such a high level of presentation. The puzzle aspect of connecting stuff together is also really cool, nice job guys!
nice idea, and i like the concept, its just that it might work a bit better if it wasnt in a first person perpective, since there really doesnt seem to be a need for it.
