That was very adorable! I really like the idea of dropping stuff through the stages to the other little creature. Good job on the game, it's easy to understand and looks VERY pretty!
Cool mecahnic that was well presented.
I especially liked how you started to play with the split of the split screen towards the end. I’d be good to see the concept explored more :)
good gameplay, loved the fact that you have included checkpoints good job @justindpnt :D
Dang, I kept getting into un-winnable states. For some reason you can't jump when you are standing on a block, and when I tried to push the third block into the hole, it just moved past the hole. The introduction of the second character was clever! Nice work on a checkpoint system for when you die, too!
I definitely want a longer version! The way you can send blocks to the other player is brilliant, i wish you expanded a bit on that mechanic bc it was really clever. That said, the graphics look nice, the controls are fine but sometimes there are some issues with the jump. it doesn't always act when i tell it too, there's either a delay with the input or with the ground detection. Also, why can't we jump on the blocks? It's weird to see the character in the falling animation while standing on them. The music has a nice atmosphere to it, the text is clear and legible, and overall it's a nice premise to a cool platformer. Keep working on it!
Fun game, really loved how I need to transition blocks to other player, but sadly as I really got involved in a process the game ended.
great game, adorable visuals and great sound track, only downside is that the button presses dont always register, but overall great game
I wish it was longer because I really liked it, very well done for a first jam!
As some of the other commenters have said, it would have been great if this game was longer. But for a 48 hour gamejam, this is a great entry. Good job!
Loved this game. Nice writing, Amazing soundtrack, I would've liked it a lot more if it was longer, But for 48 hours, its amazing.
Neat and fun! This mechanic has a lot of potential to be explored much further, but for 48 hours it was very well made. Good work
This was definitely fun, I loved how the two layers interacted with each other. The checkpoints were super forgiving, which was nice considering how long the level was. There wasn't much of anything to complain about, good job!
was a fun little game, wish there was more of it. the pushing blocks between the layers was especially cool great job with that. music was nice and wasn't too loud, so bonus points for that. overall good job!
very impressive for a first jam submission! the narrative was cool and the concept of controlling both of them was really interesting. Nice work!
I really enjoyed the music and gameplay! would love to see this expanded on with even more puzzles! great work!
Could use some more challenging levels, but good job overall :)
Nice sweet little game, with some very interesting mechanics at play, that could be for sure developed further into very complex levels. It was a bit short, lacked a some polish, but it was fun. The bond between the characters was nicely illustrated via the dialogue and it really felt wholesome. I would really like to see this game and story be explored much more, it has great potential
Short and sweet!
It got suddenly VERY interesting once we were pushing things from the top to the bottom. I want to see this concept expanded on, of course.
But yeah the music and the writing warmed my heart. If you choose to continue working on this game, definitely keep the sweetness.
Interesting concept!
The last part of the level (where we had to take the cubes and send them to the world below) had some bugs so I had to do the all over again a few times.
I wish there was more content, but it is understandable as it was for a jam.
I think an interesting twist on the game could be a wall of death rushing towards both the characters so the player has to quickly complete the whole level, that would make the game more challenging!
Overall, an amazing entry to the jam! Great job!
I wish I could play your game, but unfortunately I've had trouble loading some of the Unity WebGL games. When I hit the play button, I just get an infinite loading screen with the Unity logo. :( The game looks cool though!
