That was an interesting take on the theme. Your game was really calming! :)
This is one of my favorite unique interpretations of the theme so far. I love the ones and zeros that appeared when the score was attacking bullets left counter. Really does feel like something alive is messing with the hud. I mean, a ghost isn't really alive... but you know what I mean.
Animations are real nice too, I love how the enemies disappear.

It looks like a nice idea, but I found the game,really buggy, couldnt do a melee attack
yeah gonna have to do a lot of bug fixing post jam, I think the melee attack sometimes doesn't work when player hit animation is playing, will have to look into it, thanks for the feedback :D

A lot of games in this jam mess with player controls. It's a nice refreshment to see a game that messes with gui :)

Ha! This was fun. Some of the controls weren't always responsive but such are jam games.
