Wanted to experiment with story and making a cut scene.

I re-used a lot of code and sound effects from another tower defense game I built as a starting point.
Banjo is from friend to be credited was also pre-existing.
Everything else, graphics, story, animations etc was during the jam.

RIP to the people who skipped the intro because holy hell that was amazing. Actually more entertaining than some of the big budget cartoons I've seen recently. The clip with the fish with the ball gag in its mouth got a genuine laugh out loud from me. The art and sound is fantastic and you should totally be making cartoons for a living. The game was aite lol, but clearly I can tell where you put your time and effort in and boy did it pay off. Amazing.
Thank you means a lot! Yeah, it was 5 days on the cutscene, 1 day on the gameplay 0_o ... Game itself is getting a bit more attention now.
the intro was awesome, the game was also very fun even though it could use a little more variety, the art was consistent. overall very solid game. well done.
The screen scrolling is a little difficult unless you go into fullscreen mode, but I had fun with it! And I love that intro cutscene!

Played on Firefox where it didn't play the cut scene. Switched to Chrome to see it, SO glad I did! Awesome art style and animation.
I loved the story and was very suprised it led to a tower defense game. Your animation and art style was top notch, great job!
