I love the style, didn't understand what to do for some time but managed to figure it out, maybe a tutorial would help but nice fun game
Very polished! The graphics and sound design are really great and outstanding. I was a little unsure what to do at first, but after a few minutes I figured it out. Overall really good entry :)
Seemed a bit hard before I better understood how the mechanics worked, but after that the gameplay simply feels great. And the sound and visuals are impressive!
Glad you liked it! we were initially going to make an in-game tutorial, a lot of people have been saying that's the biggest issue the game has. Sadly, we weren't able to add one in time due to time constraints :/
The game looks and sounds fantastic, I love those calls of the enemies and the player. The visual style is really unique and plays nicely with the lightning. It was a little bit hard for me to grasp how to fight the enemies or better how to let your allies fight for you. After few tries the farthest I got was level 3, it would've been nice to be able to respawn at least in the last level instead of level 1 all the time. Really great and fun entry!
I like your fish models and overall art style. Great game.
Really cool game! I loved the art style! It was a little hard to get into at first. My initial instinct was to eat the small fish and then I didn't know what the roar did, and then I read the description and realized how to play. I think it's generally better to teach in the game rather than the description, but I understand it's a jam game so limited time.
Start to finish this was a great experience! The music is so nice to listen to and the aesthetic here is just fantastic to look at. The challenge was perfect and the length of the game felt just right. Learning how enemies behave was a scary and enjoyable process. When you figure out how to use smaller fish correctly, the game really makes sense, so I'd suggest making it clearer how that all works.
Other than that small nitpick this was fantastic! So delightful, thanks so much for making it!
awesome art, awesome sound, awesome gameplay, AWESOME GAME!
Love the art style and the music is really amazing and perfectly fits the aesthetic. Gameplay was also challenging but it never felt unfair. Really great work.
Where do I even begin?
The beautiful, low frame-rate, animations feel really nice with the pixel filter and leads together very well with the bit crush filters applied to the sounds.
The gameplay feels responsive but in a way I haven't felt in a game before. The turning around feels very "I'm a fish. I'm swimming in water" That's the best way I can describe it at least.
The lighting and color correction really brings out the textures on the models (Even though the models are mostly solid colors!)
And the adaptive music that adds the drum track when you're getting chased!? Absolutely the cherry on top!
These features all coming together to create this beautiful, cohesive game that I can't stop gawking over. It's beautiful! <3
SO COOL, man that 3d Pixelated thing is awesome, and has levels too! I love it, very cool game and very impressive for a game jam!
Loved the game and would've loved a tutorial to make it a bit more straightforward but I love the graphics and the fishiness.
very beutiful shader.
Very good sound design! I like how you did the limited vision with the lights.
WOW, the visuals are crazy in this game, I love them. If I had to give any feedback, I'd say some of the enemies are hard to read when they are going to act. Overall, great work!
