Hey I spent quite some time on this one, hadn't commented in case I would bet it in the meantine but let's face it I won't manage to at this point ;) .

The furthest pattern I managed to reach exactly once was the one after the one in the top right screenshot not counting the one in-between all I think, although the one in this screenshot I can't do better than pray and expect I won't lose too many lives, it's where I die most of the time.

The presentation is a bit rough with not everything perfectly fitting together (on the bright side these bananas are some of the best types of bullets ever, and the music is great too), but the boss fight is super solid, I love it.

Like yourself I'd also taken notes that the small pink diamond bullets are not easy to distinguish through the bananas.

That's a super cool entry, thanks for sharing.

Nice game, pretty funny concept! It was challenging for sure, but that's good.

Well created mechanic with slow button, and very good patterns of enemies.

I like the game. Good job!

In the right monke, bananas can be deadly.

This game is really fun! The bullet filled the screen, keeping the tension up while not being impossible to dodge. I also appreciate the slow button and the graze feature.

My only critic for the game is that the opacity of the bananas need to be lower. It's hard to see the enemies' small bullet when they overlap with the bananas.

The visibility of the small diamond bullets was a major issue since their inception, and it was seemingly coming down to color. It was either well contrasted against the gray part of the background, the white part, or the bananas, but it was surprisingly difficult to make them contrast against everything! We actually went through 6-7 different colors before ending up with the pink gradient. I reckon there's a perfect color for them out there somewhere, and maybe a differently colored border would help too.

Thanks for playing and we're glad you enjoyed it!

Found myself returning to monke a couple times! Game gave me a chuckle when I saw that flurry of bananas spring out of my gorilla.

This was a fun game. The bullet designs and patterns were cool, and the movement felt solid. I really liked being able to control the speed of the player when dodging bullets, and the ability to graze was neat. The music was funky! I played on Normal and Easy, but couldn't beat the boss haha.

Nice work! Well done to the entire team!

From the game page:

"You are a gorilla who in ancient times escaped from a human zoo. Consequentially, aliens abducted you as a fascinating intelligent specimen who had risen above the expected intelligence of an average ape and subsequently placed into an alien zoo.

"Today is the day. You cannot take it any longer; you must escape the alien zoo and find your way back home.

"Use your banana beam to fight off the alien zookeepers and win your freedom back!"
